Moving From Blogger To Wordpress! My Pr3 Will Remain Or Not?

    I have page rank 3 domain. i purchased hosting and now want to move to wordpress.

    will my domain still remains with Page Rank 3 Or any change In it?

    if you can replicate 100% then you have a chance to get the PR but if your site is getting more 404 pages then PR may drop.

    Make your site exactly how it was on blogger and i think that you will have no problems

    As noted you really should not have problem keeping your PR unless you end up with a bunch of 404s. Expect to see at least a temporary drop in any keyword rankings you have though.

    it will drop, unless you can make the wordpress exactly like blogger...

    301 redirecting is the only alternative if you cannot 100% mirror the URL/file name.

    To maintain rank and preserve pagerank you have to 301 redirect everything over on an URL level, so old/blogger URLs redirects to new/wordpress URLs.

    Before you migrate over to wordpress, make sure you record the old URL structure, use a crawler like xenu or perhaps blogger lets you export the site. On wordpress go and install a 301 redirect plugin. Now setup 301 redirects for every single old/blogger URL to its new/wordpress URL.

    If you do it correctly you will not loose PR,

    keep the Permalinks same.
