    Hey guys,

I want to run a movie streaming site. The problem is that I don't got a decent webhost.. do I need an offshore hosting for this or can I just host with Hostgator?

I really like to have a (offshore) hosting that has at least 99% uptime. I've tried several warezwebhosters, but they have like +60% uptime which is horrible.

    For example:
    -hostmywarez
    -warez-host
    -wrzhost

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks a lot!

you mean movie LINKING site right? nobody can afford to stream their own vids.
just host in spain, a judge declared linking legal there this year. make sure you register your anonymous domain in the bahamas or something, about 20 of the big linking sites had their domains pulled by the excited states of unamerica a couple weeks ago. megavideo was rumoured to be next unless they work out some bs settlement with the MPAA

    i use
2x4.ru/english.html (never had them complain on any content)
    ddos-shield.com/offshore-hosting.html (any content allowed)
and bulletproof-web.com/ (any content allowed) expensive, but guaranteed uptime for a heavy site or forum

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Would It still be ok if i transfered my US domain to another countries? Would that work to stop it from being taken over?
