My main keyword just moved up to #5, from #9/#10.
However, I realized that my traffic dropped 30% the past weeks.

Whats going on? Is it true that ranking in the middle of the page is worse than ranking bottom of the page?

Any inputs will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Only two possible causes that I can think of are that the keyword wasn't searched for as much due to changes in trends or you increase your rank for this keyword, but your rank for another decreased (unlikely though...)
