move domain

i couldn't find an answer with the search function, so apologies if this is discussed before...

i am stuck on page 2 in google serps with my wordpress blog on an .info domain for a couple of month. so i am thinking about moving my site to a .com domain. will this help me? will it set me back? what are the steps i have to take? anything i have to watch out for?

You can just 301 redirect your website to the new .com

I'm not sure if it will help or hinder you. You may be better off improving onpage and offpage seo first.
