    Hello BHWers,

I just reached my mark for 200 sales on Fiverr and I would love to share my results here with you.

I started my venture on Fiverr about 2 years ago, and during early days it was really difficult to get sales. There was (and still there is) so much competition and consequently it is very difficult to get seen.

My strategy was (and still is) very simple: I always tried to over-deliver :)
Satisfied users often become repeated customers, and that made possible to increase sales and to reach Level Two Seller status on january 2012.

Here is a small list of my most successful gigs:

    1) using ScrapeBox to get a list of quality blogs = ~30 sales
    2) performing an in-depth keyword research using Market Samurai = ~30 sales
    3) running backlinks indexing using my private BIE network = ~30 sales

As you may see, all of them are built around a (paid) tool. You might invest some money to be able to make some money, IMHO :)

    OKAY that's it.
I hope this may be some kind of inspirational for people always looking to make money: Fiverr is a good place to start, because you only need a few tools, great patience and some brain.

    Cheers! :D

Congratulations on your 200th sale dirptech. Two hundred sale's might be the most I've ever heard someone get on fiverr. I'm just wondering what percentage of your sales came from repeat customers?

really? I've already seen many sellers who have 100-400+ orders in queue daily in almost each of their gig!

    Thank you mate :)

The percentage of repeat customers is around 30%. It really depends on type of service offered: backlinks indexing - for example - a customer might need 100 links to be indexed today, then additional 200 links the next week, and so on. On another side, if you are selling (so to speak) an High-PR backlink on your blog, it is rare that the same customer will purchase again (until he need the very same service for more sites, of course).

    Hope this helps.

not to show off, but i'm well over 200 sales, however not even close to spyguyzz when it comes to sales volume :) and i beg to differ with this statement of yours

back then (~3 years ago) just like with every start-up, everything was easier, there weren't filters to make your life miserable, there were less to no moderation, there were less competition, you could sell anything basically, the search algo was steady, not like now when it's changing with the weather, only difference that the weather is more predictable

i'm not really into fiverr anymore, i'm hardly getting any sales and it's because i roughly have the same gigs as i had when i started, you need to have new gigs continuously if you want to stay on the top, adopt and develop

however i need to agree with this
plus you can offer a freebie

and one thing hasn't changed, buyers want their orders asap preferably for yesterday, so you'd better to deliver not just on time, but as soon as you ready w/o giving out lesser quality work of course
on fiverr all is about feedbacks which is not a new info, but with fast delivery you'll receive significantly more positive feedbacks than if you deliver just on time

i have only push button gigs, i don't use any paid tools, everything i sell is generated/collected for free and packed into a form which can sell
i'm able to deliver the orders in ~2 minutes after the order has been placed, if i'm in front of my machine which most of the times make the buyer's head spin
how do i do that w/o F5ing like a mad man? i like to keep it simple, so i'm using a firefox addon called x-notifier, which is a webmail notifier, you can set it to check your inbox(es) for new emails in every minute, it supports the main mail providers
i don't like running too many applications, but you can do the same with ms outlook or thunderbird

what can i add more to my above suggestions as a top rated seller?!
treat you customers well, be/look/sound professional, even if it's only about $4 and the sales will come

and meanwhile i'm writing this post, i just got an order lol, pretty weird tho, i hardly had any (<20) in January

Hi HoNeYBiRD, first of all thanks for your explanations.
(sorry if I shortened your writing, I just highlighted one sentence I like very much)

I totally agree with you: fast & quality delivery is the key on Fiverr.
Even if it's only $4, we should "treat" every customer(s) like gold.

Anyway, my gigs do require actually more than 2 minutes to be completed... I still have to work on that direction: adding quick-to-get-completed gigs and promoting them like crazy.

On a personal note, apart of the money side of the venture, I still enjoy my staying on Fiverr, and that's VERY important IMHO in the IM arena.

    Cheers! :)
