I've found a niche (also my hobby) that is effective on which I am currently earning money from, it has come to the point where I've reached a couple of bucks per day that's equivalent to my country's minimum wage per day. This has put a lot of ego in me and I'm procrastinating now more than ever, but don't get me wrong, I'm not the type of guy who brags my IM earnings to my friends, but lately I've been feeling that I'm not as productive as I was 3 months ago when my site was hit by the G updates.

When I recovered from the penalties I swore that I would never slack off anymore, but I don't know.. It seems like all I want to do is check my PPC earnings every hour, basically my current productivity is down to just 20% as it used to, and that really sucks, because in my niche, it's very easy to double my earnings every month, as long as I maintain a steady workload. I see the big guys here and my earnings are just spare change compared to theirs, I want to be like them too especially now that I have found a niche that I love, I just can't seem to get my head clear and realize that in the real world, my earnings are shit compared to those who work hard...

How about you? What do you do whenever you procrastinate?

I don't want to lose everything again just to realize AGAIN that I should've been more productive...

For some reason, admitting to myself that I'm a lazy guy while writing my post above made me feel better.

    Hey,

You should not feel sad because there are other people who have similar problems.

Just giving you few solid tips:

    1) When you're working, you can simply log off all the browsers and work. If your work involves plenty of online involvement, then just jot down What you should on a particular day and keep front of your desktop. ( Avoid writing what don't have to do. Only focus on what you've to do.

    2) Another tip is to take breaks after every 2 hrs. Spend 5-10 minutes doing anything, but not sitting front of your desktop/laptop. Listen to song or do whatever you like, and then once you're fresh, start working again.

    3) Keep a bottle of water front of your desk. Drinking water regularly will help you to a great extent in increasing your concentration.

    4) Just write down all the things you want in your life. Set a deadline and prepare a list of activities you need to do in order achieve your goals. You may have dream to have a luxurious house or a million dollar car. I know these things are materialistic, but if these are things are excite you, then you should read them loudly and feel the happiness of owning them. In short, this is called visualization. This will motivate you to work harder.

    5) Love your work: Start loving your work. Even if you feel bored working on a task, give a surreal feeling to yourself that you're loving it. This may sound stupid initially, but as you start doing that again and again, soon you'll see yourself loving your job.

    6) Stop comparing yourself with Others: This seriously sucks. We should compare ourselves with our past and present. Each individual is different and so are his conditions, so by comparing yourself with others, you're not doing justice with yourself. What was your best achievement till date? Set that as goal and try to scale above. Once you scale above that target, you'll have a new target to achieve. This loop should continue until you die or decide to retire. This will make you a great human being.

I am not a perfect guy or some motivational speaker, but I love sharing my knowledge. I am sure that if you implement these things, then your life will change dramatically.
