I don't have a lot of time anymore to stay active on forums but I have seen mother/ child becoming popular again in the past month. So I thought I would share my advice on it:
TIP 1: How will you run your Mother/ Child setup?
There are many ways to do this and the best choice is always based on what you are comfortable with. Here are some ways to do it:
Jarvee
Socinator
Instadub
Mobile automation
Manual on phones
Manual on browsers
Story liking bots
Ninjagram
The ideal choice would be dependent on your goals and your finances.
*Bots are better if you want to scale and have a massive setup with more profit. However they take a long time to learn and can be very unpredictable.
*Using real phones are great for smaller projects that dont require too much targeting and filtering. I have tried MC on a real phone setup and it didnt give as good results because the bots have amazing filters and scrape in real time. Just my opinion.
But for 20 accounts or so that won't matter too much as that is very easy to handle. Dealing with 10k accounts and offering a HQ service is very hard on real phones. It was a nightmare.
I believe phones will be the next big thing though! Just need some advanced MC users to help the developers get there.
*Story liking bots are great for verified accounts. But imo its too hard to do MC at scale with them as they dont have the features it needs. Like account groups, different users accross tags etc.
Step 2: What is your budget?
An important part of mother/ child is budget. If you do not know how to run a good setup you will burn through a lot of money. Much more than a MC supplier would cost.
You need to have money for the following things:
Proxies (phone plans)
Accounts
Servers (or phones)
Bots (Scraper, Growth)
This may not look like much but when you have to test each one to see which works best. It adds up fast. Not too mention the more you scale the more expensive it gets. It doesn't really get cheaper at scale unfortunately.
Step 3: What do you test?
*Proxies: You will need to test both account proxies and scraper proxies if you use bots. In my opinion 4G is best for both things.
You need to use proxies that have been dedicated for that service. Most providers will have these options so just ask.
The reason that you need to do this is because you want a minimal amount of ips being misused. So, client proxies are used for clients/ childs and typically dont have hundreds of scrapers running off them.
Scraper proxies can be loaded up and are more likely to cause blocks and logouts.
Another tip is to use the same proxy location as the location the account was created in. This is hard to do if you buy accounts, but it will give the accounts a lot more trust and you will have less issues in the long run.
*Accounts: This is one of the harder things to find. Some people create them and others buy.
Everyone uses different programs and different techniques so one account may work for one person, while another will not. This is why its important to shop around when you first start.
-New accounts: When created well and on the same IP as the proxy you run them on, they can be amazing. However if there is anything wrong with the creation then they will be a mess.
-Aged accounts: This can be a mixed bag. Often times the accounts are poor quality and will die fast. A lot come with emails with no pop3 so the only way to login is manually.
I prefer aged accounts myself.
*Servers: For a small amount of accounts you can probably just use your home computer. But if you have more than 100 accounts you need a big server.
There are lots of providers to choose from. But in my experience Xeon works better than Ryhzen for bots like jarvee, Socinator etc.
I personally can run 500-1000 accounts per server and my servers have 24 xeon cores and 128gb ram. Cpu is usually the only thing that can struggle on this server. Especially if I use EB.
Phones: I have only done a small amount of mobile automation and felt the xiaomi range is very affordable and powerful. We were using the 7a and had no issues with performance. The dual app helps heaps.
Running accounts:
Everyone will have different goals and objectives with running accounts so it is hard to cover everything. So, I will leave some basic tips.
Warmup:
*Real phones/ Manual: Small random actions for a few days and then start ramping up to 150 follows a day. You can do small intervals like 25 a day if you are not sure. Very fast warmup.
*Bots: I think automation on bots is always more risky so I spend a lot more time warming up than I would on real phones/manual.
Usually 3-4 weeks before I start the dms.
Limits: Again, different techniques make it harder to give proper limits but I will give safe guidelines for people ro start on.
*Real phones: You can safely go upto 150+ follows/unfollows a day with 10-20 dms.
(Some do 200 follows a day)
*Bots: For new users I suggest staying under 80 f/uf and 10 dms max. Vets can try push to 150 a day.
The more experienced you are the more you can do. Just test, test, test.
How to do Mother/Child for a client:
If you are just starting out, then you need to start small. Start on 5 accounts and move up in small increments. The more accounts you have, the more issues that can arise. This is due to Instagram seeing patterns in its algorithm. I would start on your own account or a friends.
Once you have a good base then you can start to make things more efficient. The first thing you can do is calculate how many accounts on average you need to run a client.
1) Figure out what your average FBR is accross all accounts. Ie 15%
2) Figure out what your dm to follow (Mother) ratio is. Ie 1-3 per account.
3) Figure out how many accounts are needed to grow a client. Ie base plan is 750 follows, 1-2 follows per account means 12.5-25 accounts.
However I do not recommend you to use this amount as blocks, captcha etc can happen. So, always have extras.
One thing we do with our clients, is over deliver. They pay for 750 followers but we try and give more. This is how you keep them long term.
Other tips
-Test dms, bio @, story shares, post shares to recommend the mother account.
-Test how many accounts you can run per proxy
-Test different account and proxy providers
-Test api vs eb
-Test different warmups
-Do not change big things in mass
Do not rely on other peoples settings and techniques. You want to be able to think and adapt on your. Learn the process. There is no easy way. If there was, everyone would be successful doing this!
Good luck!
