Someone was probably sending bots to BHW most likely. BHW has a few hundred thousand more members now, yet can only get a fraction of that amount on now.
that was the day of global protests, so maybe instead of going to their work that day, most of the people in the world logged on to bhw instead

Way to go guise. That global Occupy whatever really turned out well. Goes to show you what happens when dirty hippy stoners who think their stoner idea is cool sleep in front of government offices and gather together. They stink up the place and the world forgets because not a damn thing changed.
Maybe they should take a hint from the net neutrality results, it took lobby from lots of groups in order to make the internet more open in America. Sitting down in front of government offices or blocking public streets didn't get people full speeds to all websites and free tethering on cell phones.
