If you had to choose only 1 social media to promote your niche - like, fanbase of movie/tv show/book, which social media would you choose? Would you go with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or something else? What do you think it would be the best to choose and spend time on? Fanbase on which network? That won't be hard to monetize. Facebook is becoming harder definitely.

Well Ello.co failed real bad. I really like Tumblr. But I don't think it's the next big thing. Reddit is really cool. I think it's only going to grow bigger. Honestly it's hard to say.

I saw a new social network here on blackhatworld called showzee it looks promising.

Today I would go with twitter + instagram . Facebook is getting kictch and tumblr doesnt reach a wide audience.

It Depends on the niche, for blackhat niches I would go with twitter+youtube+vk.com

Youtube

-Have a look at Buzzfeed. They produce trashcontent 24/7 and have 4 channels all doing the same shit and if we add the total monthly reach together we see, that buzzfeed is the biggest channel on youtube with over 500 million views. Even Collector is a shit against buzzfeed.

I'm still working on it OP but I'll send you a PM once I launch it.

500 million views over many videos isn't actually that much it just means they have many followers that watch almost every video.

And ?

Even if just 4 million followers do 500 million views a month they still cash a lot.

I think twitter is slightly better than youtube

Maybe they are using a method similar to how pewdiepie got so popular, by uploading content from various different parts of the world.

What do you mean by that? Buzzfeed operate out of the USA and Australia as far as I know. they probably have more locations as well.

Well on youtube if you upload a video from a certain country its more likely to be displayed in the search engine than a video not uploading from that country. There was a video someone posted on another thread that went into explaining it.

It's a good business still. Not sure for how long though..

Youtube, Instagram and Twitter.
But it comes to Youtube and Twitter at the end. Too many people exploiting Instagram and Facebook just wants your money.
If done properly, you can take great advantage of youtube and twitter.

Hmm, hard to answer. To promote a traditional business say a consultancy or whatever, I think Linkedin is the best.
Something like interior design, then Instagram etc would win.

If you want to go viral really quickly, its Twitter... or Youtube.

As you mention fanbases, I'd want something that triggers the emotions. Well in the case, what could beat an enticing Youtube vid?
Facebook looks rather "flat" in comparison, IMO. But I think I'd back it up with a blog and LOADS of postings/pr at various websites.
