Most profitable niche on instagram?

Long time lurker.. Tried a few things and failed on them all.

Over the last few months I've been growing an instagram account in the tattoo/model niche and have nearly 20k followers.. No bots/fake followers, all organic.. After reading and talking to a few instagrammers I now feel I've picked a bad niche.

So I questions are:
Did I make a bad decision?
What are the most profitable niches?
What are the niches that grow the fastest?

(before anyone says 'use the search bar' I have, a lot and haven't got any definitive answers.. Only 'do what you're passionate about'.. Well I'm passionate about making money and if posting pictures of something I don't enjoy is the only way then so be it)

Personally I do not think you picked a bad niche. Tattoos and piercings have never been so popular. A lot of the times those people that is passionate about it has a lot of extra income. Have you though about an affiliate site that sell piercings? I am a noob but I know a tattoo artist and he is simply killing it with sales. Just a suggestion. Having 20 000 followers definitely shows potential.

Even an adsense site would do well the CPC on the tattoo niche is really high as well. direct your traffic there.
 
There are no best niches or fastest growing. It depends on your ability. One person might be in the pets niche and make $50 a day and one might make only $5 a day. But what the person about said is right. The more passionate they are about the niche or product the better
 
Every niche is a good niche as long as you work hard.
 
I'd say foot fetish is pretty good right now. Very targeted niche.

Thanks for your positive reply! But I can't sell tattoos nor can I sell models.. Assuming the majority of my followers are probably just following me for the half naked models I can't imagine they'd be willing to open their wallets.. And cpc/adsense was the reason I started Insta in the first place (make a tattoo 'blog' website and stick some ads in.. But then I realised the model part would gain me a lot more followers quicker)

Thanks for your reply.. I agree passion does help but in my opinion anyone can post pictures in Insta and try to sell things whether you like it or not which is why Im not too bothered whether I like it or not.. Just got to bite the bullet I guess and push through for a few months, build a following then start selling

No I mean the people that follow you should be passionate about it. Like people love their pets and will spend hundreds a month on them for treats food toys etc. But something like comedy memes, The followers aren't as passionate

I've actually read that somewhere haha.. I guess I'd redirect them to chaturbate or something? And yes sounds very targeted but would also like something evergreen with more options also something that will grow big enough to eventually sell shoutouts along side affiliate/cpa
 
No niche is bad if you know how to monetize it.
Just find the top city of your followers and contact the tattoo artist from that city and charge him to share his/her design and shop info.

That's the problem, I'm new to all this.. Especially monetization. And how would I find out the demographics of my followers?
 
Most profitable = most competitive. Try weight loss bro... You'll feel worse.
 
I won't name any service but there are some web based apps that can do it (yahoo it )

Then maybe somewhere in the middle? Where I'm new to all this I know I'll fail because all the bigger names have been doing it for a lot longer with more experience.. They'll all go to them and yeah I'm considering weight loss

Ok that is good you found a way to gain followers quickly and still have tattoos in there. There are many things you can ad on to that. Two words Amazon Shop have a look at this link http://www.inkedshop.com/ this is your target market you do not even have to do that much work get someone here to build the shop for you. Heck I wish I had that many followers
