The question is in the title.
I want to build a small farm, about 10 smartphones. Phones should be most popular or best selling. Will be using appium.
Any suggestions? Or iPhones will be better? Phones will be shared among multiple accounts in browser. Chrome will be automated.

Thank you.

Depends on your budget. If you could get 10 iPhone 15s why not? More economical to go for something like the 8 thought

Or buy something like cheap $20 x mobile phones and put a sim. You can buy quite a few of those for the cost of 1 iPhone. But verify the specs per automation requirements.

Why android under 10? Chrome is important for me, it has to be updated. What kind of headaches?
I'm going to automate websites. Multiple accs.

I have doubts that cheap phones will be able to handle heavy websites in chrome... can you suggest a model?

The newer version mostly ones after Android 10 had a lot more restriction Also it's hard to get working things for the newer versions for example most root related stuff. But if you are not doing something to technical And just need to do stuff on chrome then I think you would be good to go with any version or phone model.

Thank you. I have one old android 7 phone, gonna test it, interesting how chrome goes on it

Welll I. Have 40 of the x2s…. They handle streaming, and social medias well enough. But I don’t automate. Everything is personally done
X2s? What is it? Googling a gamepad lol

Xmobile x2. First thing when I google it. Can’t post picture because I’m in big bear and the reception is bad here.

Okay. Guys, what's the best software to manage connected phones? I've seen somewhere a pic where all phone screens being streamed to the pc monitor. Do you know the name of the software? I need it because I found that broken screen phones are extremely cheap.
