So I have a blog with 200+ posts for which I track like 400 low & medium keywords.

But my problem is that most of my keywords are not ranking in the top 100.

That wouldn't be strange for a new website, however, mine is like 2 years old, and for some medium/high keywords it ranks in top 30 and even 10.

My dilemma is why some articles that target very low competition are not ranking in the top 100 while others that targets medium keywords or even higher ones rank in the top 30?

I have done nothing special to those articles that rank in top 30.

You should maybe send more backlinks, or check the on page seo from your site in the first place? pages are maybe not well optimised... hard to say just like that...

This proves the point that we all talk about competition metrics like we have some kind of PhD on SEO, but the truth is we know shit about it...
