    Greeting Blackhatters,

If you feel you are successful, please make a comment : )

If somebody who's chasing success asked you for an advice, what would you tell him/her ?

What the most important attribute a person must have to become successful ?

What's your advice to those who are on their path to success.

Feel free post as many as you wish, but which one do you think the most imporatant ?

My thought : I think courage is something anyone must have, not afraid of failing, starting all over again.

    Cheers.

This is a bit different from what the OP requested sorry, but today I had a conversation with a friend who told me something I thought I would share.

The person I was speaking with had an uncle who was healthy and then suffered from a progressive disease, like motor neuron disease, that eventually left them in a wheelchair and even though their mind was functioning they were only able to communicate via their retina hooked up to a computer.

One day my friend went round their uncles and the uncle had prepared a letter for them in which they said - when they look back upon their life they were filled with regret, regret for all the time they had wasted worrying about things that were never going to happen and if they did were not that bad anyway, regret for the time they spent not living their life, for the worry they put into thinking about what other people thought about them and ultimately regret for the time they had spent worrying about mistakes they had made that could not be rectified.

There are two things I took from this conversation today that I feel are relevant to the OPs question.

    1. Do not spend time dwelling on what you think, or worse what you think others would perceive as your failures, keep going until you find success and worse case if you dont then at least you will have no regrets having given it your all.

    2. Once you attain a level of success take time to actually enjoy it because life is short and you only get one go.

Be Patient and NEVER lose focus. I've lost count of the number of times i've lost focus, but luckily have struggled back to the goals at hand to achieve some success.

I agree with you. Don't give up and don't lose focus.
Many webmasters and IMs are so lazy, me too. :)
One little advice how to stay focused: before start anything make your plan/blueprint - step by step.
Schedule your work by tasks and days. And never say: "I am tired, i will do this tomorrow."
The way to success is hard, but it's not impossible.

    Hope this motivate. ;)

Your work ethic is the thing to focus on. Without a good one you will fail. Remember the world owes you nothing. It's your responsibility to go out and build a profitable empire.
