Hi everybody,

Back in the day, Copyscape was king but it really isn't a reliable option anymore imo. I have found nothing to work better than Quetext, it is really a remarkable tool and is cheap af. The only caveat is that you have to check your content in pieces (less than 500 words at a time) or it may not flag portions of your article that are duplicate. Otherwise, the tool is ace.

A free alternative that I used some time in 2020 was 1text, which seemed cool on the surface but is actually hypersensitive, and the results are riddled with false alarms.

Grammarly is a waste of life when it comes to plagiarism checking. The tool is really geared towards super ESL writers otherwise.

What else do you guys recommend? I don't mind if the tool costs more. Like most people here, I outsource all of my content, and running plagiarism checks through another tool would just give me some more peace of mind.

Open to your suggestions.

Thanks!

I have been using Copyscape since past many years. It is working quite well for me. I know nothing is perfect in this world so Copyscape might be having some flaws, but that is the case with many other tools, isn't it?

I also outsource almost all of my content and plagiarism checker is an integral part of my business. I haven't tried Quetext till now, but I would like to try it in future.

I would advise you to check out Quetext, it is way ahead of Copyscape tbh. Probably a combo of both. Quetext catches a lot of stuff that Copyscape doesn't. Maybe I should start doing a combo myself for both these tools. I kinda wanted to see what else other people are using.

Sure, I checked the site and it looks worth giving a try. Thanks for the advice mate!

I've been using grammarly lately. It works just fine. Nothing out there is perfect imo. Try multiple tools and settle on one that sails your boat. Ideally, pick one out of quetext and grammarly. I use grammarly because I have it anyway for grammar and spell checks.

My observation. When I use the plagiarism check on 1Text and Quetext, it happens that MI 1Text displays the exact source matching even in small percentages compared to the Quetext that displays the items unique.
To whom trust?

I use Below of these 4
plagiarismdetector.net
smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker
duplichecker.com

quetext.com/plagiarism-checker

Quetext looks interesting. I've been using Copyscape ever since.
