Hello good day to all this is my first thread here. I just want to ask if having a lot of content/post necessary mean that you can earn a lot of cash than a few post ( let's say about 10 post )? currently I have a blog that provide lyrics, I saw some site that earning more money with fewer post on their site. ( I don't know if I see it right ). My goal to my site would be to earn at least 5-10$ / day or 100$-300$ a month. Some say that earning 100$ a month is easy but I'm having trouble even earning 1$ a day. Can someone please advice me thank you very much :D

hmm, when you are providing lyrics, i don't know, how can you provide quality, I mean all the sites providing the lyrics have same content, I mean you can't write unique contents

I'm thinking that also, and can't think other niche to start with. I'm a member of amazon but I cant get my first sell. I'm thinking of making a blog store with amazon content ofcourse. Thanks sir UltimateVelocity. I'm guessing if changing niche will get difference.

I agree with quality over quantity, but you are in the lyrics niche which is heavily saturated and has little room for great "content." Unless you breakdown the song meaning and explain what lyrics mean. I saw one site do this with Eminem and it was an amazing approach to a lyric site.

I would go after another niche personally. Choose something that you like and something that is not over-saturated with competition. Before diving into your next project, ensure that the niche chosen is a viable option. I used to build sites based off of what first popped into my head and failed miserably because I didn't research enough.

You can definitely hit your goal, but just map everything out and make a plan.

Say you write just one post, but it goes viral and it gets 1 million visitors : you make tons of $$$ from just one post.

I got a little bulb in my head thank you, Explaining about the lyrics is applicable to my niche not to all songs but most of them are possible to do it. Why I didn't think of that.

About other niche at the moment I can't think of any so sad

My rule of thumb is that for every 500-1000 Articles of QUALITY content you can expect $100/day

If that will happen I will really really happy as you can see, even reaching 100-$300 a month is enough for me. Of course I don't say I don't like $100 a day :)

Keep it mind that it takes a lot of time/money/both to write and post 1000 Quality Articles.

Actually the "equation" is different, but quite simple: more content with higher quality + traffic = more money :D

But you can make a better product overall.Do what the other ones do just make it better and you will have no problem

Lyrics? Saturated niche, nothing original you can offer. Find something original you can offer.

Hi OP,

A little misconception here, post are being rated by quality, not so much on quantity issue. Lets say you produced 10 unreadable articles or duplicate from others, search engines will not recognized as legit, in the sense rankings decline means lesser revenue.

if you ever produce one article slowly but filled with contentment and necessary knowledge, won't visitors come back again. Yes, lesser posts but of quality content can really earn big as compared to mass junk ones.

Sincerely,
Commoner

its not about More content = More traffic , its about More Quality and popularity = More traffic = More money...
