More pages on a site getting links boosts authority?

    Do you think getting links to different pages on your site can help your authority?

    For example a site that has some authority and blogs regularly, it would seem natural for different posts to get links to it or on Amazon you can find links to random pages on the site as opposed to 2 or 3 pages, etc...

    Yes, that will help but you need links from strong sites in that mix. A bunch of links from random Web 2.0s is not the ticket there but you do have a part of the equation in your hands.

    Yes, it will get your site authority overall. And it's also natural to have more links on a few pages only, the G just regards them as the more popular content than the others.
