More pages = more income ?

I have a problem

Its that my site is only 1 page, well 87% of people only go on the first page to get songs

Does anyone know a way I can do to make more money with adsense ?

My ctr is at 0.49%

Any help would be appreciated.

That blog sure does get around bet it has herpies by now .

Try enticeing your users to go beyond the first page . That may help .

put teasers on the first page (pics, brief description) link to a second page where the ads are more visible. Or you can try a vertically floating div that contain some stuff ands the ads, that way if ppl scroll down the ads are always on screen.

I have also found that Skyscraper Google Ads when placed down the right don't work very well. Try integrating them amongst the content in your main columns - I have an example at: http://www.blastedthing.com/magento/checkout/mag-insecure-or-non-secure-pages-on-the-magento-checkout/

Here I have literally done a teaser at the start of the article (which displays the first paragraph or so), whacked in the Adsense, and then carried on with the article below.

I'm still experimenting quite a bit so I'll let you know which of my tests work and which don't!
