Well, it depends on how you feel about stealing others work. Big companies take each others work all the time, ex. Microsoft stealing the mouse from Apple. Does that make it right? No. But is it done a lot? Yes.

It's not a moral dilemma....if you can produce a better product, then go for it. There is nothing wrong with that.

Look at the number of auto blog creators, article scrapers, comment posters, account creators....etc.

    As far as I understand...

The idea of business challenging each other to improve comes into play here. You can take someones idea/service/product and change it for the better. New graphics, better interface, add a new function and you are providing a better service/product/value/whatever for the price. The other business opened the route and challenged you to make it better. You did and now it's there turn.

    Happens everyday.

Don't steal any logos, sales pages, but make something your own and improve on it. That's business.

Would it be this product that you have recently purchased by any chance?

If every one is talking about morel dilema then there wont be any competition in the industry. You see some one providing a service which is new in the Market. If it is new there will be demands for it. So what should be dons is creating a replica of the service and grab some customers. This is happening every where. Think of Google+ and Facebook. Is Google the bad guy? stealing ideas and making the interface similar to Facebook????

yeah but as long as he improves on it puts work into building from scratch there shouldn't be a problem. I see lots of sales threads here where people are selling the same thing as others.

I believe that member stole and copied the code of original coder and tried to say it was all his coding etc.

But taking someone's idea and improving on it, is not something that will get you banned.

Otherwise people that make tools on here that do commenting or profiles or article submission would all be banned, yet they are not because they are just taking the idea or concept and coding with the same goal in plan, but using their own coding.
