    Hi,

So my website is only a baby at 2 months old. I've done my citations, built solid Facebook / Twitter accounts with lots of followers and slowly tipped links in. I'd say i'm well over the 100 mark with links now and some are real solid quality links too.

My website was moving up the rankings nicely, a little dancing but the general trend has always been up for my money term. I'm currently middle of page two, slightly down on last week. (Was top of page 2)

Thing is, for other keywords, including the national keyword in my niche (Which is very competitive) i'm in on page 2 too, i have also moved up for other keywords too. This seems in huge contrast to the money term where i've dropped slightly for a few days now. (No dancing at the moment)

Has anyone else seen this? I'm guessing it's just a case of keeping up the link building, content, social and being patient. I've just never seen this phenomenon where my money term has halted somewhat yet i'm moving up strongly for other more competitive keywords.

I do wonder if my site is slightly over optimised for the money keyword. The backlink profile is very diverse and my money keyword density is 1.41 % - personally i think this is about right and possibly too little, what do you guys think?

My money anchor density is 5% and the domain is a partial match.

Thanks for any help you can give, hope my ranting makes sense!

Money keyword i suppose has more competition and "national terms" i guess is more specific---> less competition.
Dancing comes and go, just keep in mind this " is your site dancing or your competitors?"

Keep doing what you're doing. Small fluctuations are nothing to worry about. SEO progress should be measured in weeks not days :)
