money giveaways in the freebies section

    are they not allowed? there was a thread giving away $30 and when I looked last week it was gone.

    I'm not sure if its allowed or not but it sure is sketchy as hell.

    Anyone trying to buy friendship or trust is usually worth neither.

    yeah , i have seen a guy giving away 30$ for free and i dont know who that lucky person was to receive that money !

    I don't think anyone got any money, if we're talking about the same $30. I saw the thread was deleted before the OP could give it out. The OP had set a deadline to pick a random person in the thread with a random number from random.org or something.

    Yes i think its allowed as i remember a thread where a member gave $20 or $30 for his 1000th posts using random.org to choose winner.But to be sure,contact a mod

    The reason it was removed was because it was a random draw, or a raffle. That's not allowed in the giveaways section. You can set restrictions for your giveaways, but you can't choose someone at random to give it to.
