It depends on the network and how you're scaling.

If you're dealing with a small - mid-sized network that's brokering offers, they sometimes have all their publishers under one sub id and it'll look good (on paper) to the advertiser. Once you start scaling and the overall volume of traffic doesn't back out, the advertiser will notice and won't pay.

As far as scaling, if your initial traffic came from website A and the advertiser approves it, it doesn't mean the flood of traffic from website B, C, D, etc. will back out for them too. That's just one scenario that could impact quality, but there's other factors such as traffic sources, geos, demos, hours/days you send traffic (late nights and weekends can be shitty sometimes), mobile vs desktop traffic, and the list goes on.

Either slowly scale and keep a good relationship with your AM, or spread out your traffic across multiple networks, if they have the same offer. If you know you're driving shitty traffic, take a hit on your ROI and send some premium traffic from Adwords/Facebook so it backs out for the advertiser and keeps everybody happy.

You're pretty much extending credit to these networks, so don't spend more than you can afford to lose.

You are talking about FTD (First time deposit here). I just had this problem with casino offer this week.
Basically advertier find that the gamblers are not betting enough turnover for them to be profitable. So they refuse to pay for the leads claiming traffic quality issue.

A few blacklisted casino NEVER TO TOUCH:
    1) Golden Lion
    2) 1xBET
    3) Bet2U (notoriously bad reputation to both affiliates and customers)

I have like $37,000 commission in total that have been reversed.

I suggest that you don't keep your hopes too high. As advertiser will not hesitate to terminate relationship with CPA network just to avoid payment. Next time when you promote casino offer, only work with the big boys. They pay lesser but at least they pay.

And as expected, like many of these "my account got banned, didn't get paid"threads, usually telling only half the story. You fucked up, learn from it and move on.

I have all the conversion in my tracker , i was using about 6-8 different traffic sources for the offer which i scaled from 1-2 traffic sources.

correct me if i am wrong but how could they be all bogus conversions if they were all from different traffic sources ? I don't understand as the offer stated that the user had to deposit before the offer converted . i did mention that the network is PF in one of my posts.

AM only responded once to me and didnt respond at all after many emails .

Your money is gone. Casino CPA that bangs on FTD would look closely at their profit margin. They are looking specifically for players turnover but yet they do not want to do revenue share since it is very lucrative if you have players who bet alot. They use CPA FTD to bait as many leads as possible since no one knows how many actually turns into active players.

Cheer up and move on. This is the ugly side of CPA marketing. Learn from it

I probably wouldn't promote casino, adult dating or free iphone shit lol..

I'd only promote eCommerce PPS offers from reputable brands like barkbox, mcaffee subscription etc..

What 2 last persons said, I tried all that so called CPA offers which were e-mail submits, mobile subscribes, adult dating, game leads/install, gambling, forex, cryptocurrencies and such. You know, it's probably not making any money now cause everyone doing it. I am getting back to good old Amazon, Ebay, Clickbank and something similar. It have value

Why do many people here are still mistaken a publisher for an advertiser?
The advertiser in the one who has a PRODUCT to advertise, and the publisher is the one promoting this product. So we marketers are publishers not advertisers, and the product owner or the offer owner or whatever; is the advertiser.

Network is not CORRUPT. Peerfly is one of my favorite network. Though I uses blackhat means but i still get paid as long as advertiser pays Peerfly. Advertiser is scammer here. If they are not profitable, they will cut off EVERYONE including the CPA network.
