Hey, I currently have a facebook page with 180k followers! I get around 1-2k likes per post and some decent engagement. With links, reach goes down by a lot.
So how am I able to monetize it? Is there a way I can put a link in the caption if my pics and if people click it I get a few cents?
I am completely new to this.

Create a new store and promote some cheap stuff there. You can use shopify for that. Post images of your Products and link in the image itself and out of those 2K likes you got, minimum 500 - 1500 people can come to your site (depending on how attractive your product is) and you can make some sales dude.

You could tell your page's audience of "giveaways" or "insane discounts" on products and then post links. Shouldn't be too bad.

You can create a Tee on Teespring related to your niche and then you can promote it on your page.
This will not decrease the engagement and you can get a few sales every time ypu post it.

You need to tell us more about the niche you are in. Its almost impossible to generalize whats the best way to monetize a fb page.

how will it not decrease engagement if I put the link to it in my caption?
Cause everytime I put a link I get very low engagement rates
