Have a pretty cool blog getting 100+ uniques a day, yet haven't been able to think of anything to monetize it. Any ideas/ specific affiliate programs?

    100 uniques is nothing.

Even worse when it is game related traffic.

Improve traffic 10 times and then you can think on ways to monetize

Ya, game tips are hard to equate into cash... lots of work, little return. I would start looking at subjects that can bring in cash...

Expensive hobbies are where money flows... 15 year olds don't have a lot of cash, but a 25 year old, now they're just starting to make money, and have the spending habits of a 15 year old... Money!!!

Even better, if you understand the market are 50 year old retirees. Expensive hobbies, and money to back it... Real MONEY!!!

100 uniques isn't going to bring you huge amounts of cash but it can get you started.

Monetizing Game related traffic is a matter of promoting reward sites. You can direct the traffic what is known as a GPT there are a lot "points2shop", "gifts4points" to name a few. So you sign up and get your referral link.

What you would do is put up articles on your blog relating to getting said game for free. You talk about how these sites pay users cash if they just complete a few offers, surveys and click a few links. Make sure the article makes it clear that they can get the game for free by signing up to these sites. The sign up link you place will have to be your referral link.

You only make about $0.50 per sign up on a site like Points2shop (changes depending on the activity of the users you bring in 0.50 is what it starts at and is the maximum) which isn't a lot but if you can get a good conversion percentage you could make a decent amount. You get a further $0.50 when they complete their first offer and then you make a percentage of what ever the user you referred makes after.

The buzz for call of duty is pretty high and you missed a great time to maximize the money earned from the traffic, this was the time leading up to and around the modern warfare "stimulus" package. As many kids were running around the internet to get free microsoft points. Many jumped on the chance and I know a few who were pulling in up to $800 per day using this method, but that was at a lot more than 100 uniques per day. Though I'm sure there will be more map packs released for the game.

GPT sites aren't sites you can consistently make huge cash from but at with the type of traffic you should be getting it should do the job for a while until you find a better way to monetize the traffic.
