    Hello guys!

I’m working on my tattoo-related account on instagram: blxckink.
Since I bought FL things move pretty great. Now I have ~34,3k followers, I get ~1k new followers per day, average likes: 1500-2000.
In november I gained only 200-300 followers per day and 500 likes max.

I’m writing ppl that they should send me pics to email if they want to be promoted and then I say that it’s not free.
I receive 5-10 emails daily. Some ppl buy shoutout, other not (mostly not).
    I want to increase sales.

I’m learning how to build a website right now (also tattoo-related) to send all the traffic to it later, but for now I really have no idea.
Maybe there are some «exchange houses» on the web? Or some affiliated programs?

    Thanks in advance!

Just an idea, but how about you hire a local tattoo artist or two to design tattoos for people?

You can turn it into a service and have your instagram followers send you their concepts, then post the pictures on the instagram page and say visit awesometattoos.com to claim your design.

Lots of people get tattoo designs online, then bring them into a shop to have them done. Why not make money that way?

    Hey cataclysm1987,

    that is actually brilliant idea!
I'll talk to illustrators about it.

In the meantime, maybe anyone has other idea how to monetize traffic and such thing?

there is several "Instagram advertising" websites on the internet, they do all the account marketing for you and take 10-30% of your earnings. All you have to do is post the shoutouts.

I'm not familiar with the niche, but I'm sure someone's making money from tattoo-targetted traffic out there.

You should have a local tattoo shop/artist sponsor it. Have them pay you and you shout out their location, put their link in bio etc. It could be a good partnership.

I´m good at web design and monetizing and I was planning to create some instagram accounts in the tattoo niche. I´m on the food niche and my accounts are growing fast (web+IG+Twitter Formula). Maybe we could asociate, because my main weakeness is driving targeted traffic to my websites quickly. PM me if you are interested,

Anyway, there are various options for monetizing an IG account (depends on how "legal" you want to be)
1-. Shouts; It´s always a good choice, doesn´t matter the niche
2-. Sponsorships; As the other users suggested, offline/online sponsorships are a good way to make cash
3-. Everything that a website involves: Adsense, CPA campaigns, selling banners to local shops or sponsors.... etc
I reccommend CPA, giveaways and this kind of things because Instagram its not the best SN to drive direct traffic from, but "iphone giveaways" and this kind of tactics work ok with this amount of followers

This might be unrelated, but I was wondering how you managed to gain 200-300 followers a day when you started out with the program? I'm clocking in about 60-100!

I'm just started. I take now $10 for 1 picture, if someone wants to buy more, then there is a special pricing.

Could I find something on Instagram's html? I don't think so.
All my competitors except one account (180k) now have less followers than I have. For 1 month I gained about 20k followers, and next month I believe I'll gain even more. Only one of them has a website with a form to submit a tattoo/illustration (name, email, pic).

I started to make a service like cataclysm1987 suggested. I think this could be really nice, because I'm into it, I freaking love tattoo and I'm looking forward to provide good service. I want to throw up when I see eternity symbol or some other sh*t like that. I have lots of amazing tattoo artists and illustrators who I believe would want to work with me.

But this is only one option. I'm looking to get all I can from this source.

The thing is I have 32% of all the traffic from USA, next goes UK (16%), Italy (10%), Brazil (9%) and only then (4%) Germany where I currently live. I think there's no way to promote local shops. But of course I can try to do it with someone from US/UK.
    Thanks for the suggestion!

Hey! I didn't start this page for money. I love tattoos and I just wanted to show people how many awesome artists there are all around the globe. When I started it, I was one of the first. I gained about same amount of followers as my main competitor (the one that has now 180k). And then at some point I just dropped it. By this time I would have 200k+ followers if not more. But anyway, I need some time and I'll outrun him, it's only a matter of time.

So what I'm trying to say, when I started using FL (1 month by now) I had 10k followers already.

    Hey Bagrov,

I have a tattoo related website that works pretty well and I monetize it with AdSense. The CPC and CTR for the niche though is not really high compared to other niches.

To monetize your site, you can go check out Clickbank they have some decent products as well. You can also offer something for free to your followers (like an ebook with the best designs) and capture their email addresses to promote them products.

    Good luck.

    Guys, I need your help.

I got an answer from one of UK tattoo supply shop.

I have a question. How to advertise this stuff?

Should I just put the link in description and make kind of shoutout x times and they would just pay fixed price for it (how much then?)?
Or maybe a better option is to ask them to make special code and I would get percentage from sellings?

What do you think is better? Maybe there's some other options?

    Thanks.
