I purchased a someproductscam.com site and I was wondering what is the best way to monetize a site like this, Affiliate links? The product is listed on Amazon and I have a WP plugin to display Amazon listings. I'm thinking turning it into a review site saying how great the product is and how amazing the results are, etc... then inserting affiliate links to the product.

Do you find having a single landing page better than multiple pages?

My plan is to use wordpress and create some content to get the site ranked. Once I'm at the #1 spot then I will create the WP landing page with hopes to convert sales.

When talking about "is x a scam" type of site, the usual thing to do is a review.
This works well with digital products: ebooks etc. I just hope that the domain makes sense.

Multiple page site can hurt your ctr to to offer, but will probably help you to get the site ranked.

    Good luck

Yeah, as heavyweight said, the common thing is doing a review.
You could start the review like this:
    Is <product> really a scam?
    Followed by your review.

there's many different ways to do this kind of review site -

    1) is X a scam? no. buy it here.

    2) is X a scam? yes. but here's a similar product that's not a scam.

    3) is X a scam? maybe. here's 3 similar products and you can pick your favorite.

and so on... get creative :)

I think I am going to try the "Is it Legit or Scam?". I'm going to make it appear as though it's a single page site, but at the bottom I'll place the standard About, Privacy, Contact, Sitemap, etc, pages. I will also place a "Blog" or "Content" link which will have links to the content I will use to help me rank.

I was more curious if these types of site convert well. I see the type of people who do these types of searches as being more apprehensive and not likely to pull the trigger on the purchase. It seems like I will need well written content to persuade them into purchasing.

    They do convert well.
    These people are buyers.
I always pictured them with their wallet open besides them, ready to buy, but going: "hey before i buy this, let me check out if its legit"

Scam (review) sites are good. When the "Google Biz Kit" came out it was easy to bank over $200 with just 3 or 4 backlinks. I have a scamcom name too and hope to put it in use soon. You should get some pretty good conversions if done properly

Do you let your visitors post comments about the product?

You could do a fake negative review, then link to another product that you are an affiliate for as an alternative.
