Hi BHW,
I've been lurking this forum for about 2 months now and I have read countless posts and articles about making money online. A lot of the time, the reading is so technical that I can't understand what the OP is actually trying to do... anyway, I run a music blog for hiphop/dubstep/house which gets approximately 100 unique views per day and approx 200 page loads. Monthly traffic totals are therefore ~1,630 Unique and ~3,173 page loads. I run adBrite because I cannot get approved for Google adSense (they won't even respond to my emails). I am a member of a CPA site, so I feel like I have a good starting base for monetizing my website. I am starting to research more about SEO, although music blogging is a very competitive niche. My question is, what would your next steps be?

First I want to ask, How long did you wait for google reply?
You can use other available options means, imagespacemedia for image advertising, Kontera for text advertising, amazon affiliate etc.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've been approved by adsense and get like 100-130 unique views per day (my CPC is $0.43) currently so maybe it will work out after all. I'm very new to this stuff.

I don't understand why Adsense won't approve your blog. It approves tumblr blogs which are less than 1 month old and have less than 30 UVs per day in about a week.

I have just started a big project that is also a music blog focused on a similar genre. I'm guessing you are from the UK also. I can provide you with some guidance, chuck me a PM.

I don't know what kind of music videos you are using. But try this affiliate music program
With my aff id: Here
Withouth ref: Here
Publishes music albums monthly and conversion rate is high.
Offers free gifts to visitors. Really cool.
If visitors choose to buy each month or just any of the time, you'll get paid plus it's 2 tier. You also get paid for sales made by refs under you.

Try with various offers, affiliates, one that has free offers/gifts to entice visitors.

get a blogger account and post about 5 - 10 articles about whatever you're interested in (scrape and spin articles from web)...let pages get indexed then apply for adsense account...you should be golden in less than a week

Thanks for all your responses guys. Since the post, I've managed to implement adsense but am still not making money. It's ok, content is king and I'm getting more viewers over time. I'm sure that if I keep going, I will begin to get clicks.
