Monetize your Twitter account

Hi there, interesting post thank you. I was just wondering with TweetBeep would this work say for example I could have it update me on all new conversations about ebay?

Ultimately I want to find the people with the highest followers on a topic of ebay. Any ideas?

You have to do that manualy. I don't know of a service that does this for you, but TweetBeep will help.

Good post! I didn't even know that these app.s existed. Are there any others that you use and do you use twitter to direct traffic to any sites you have? If so, how do you do it without sounding too spammy??

There are lots people using twitter to direct traffic now. If you want do it without sounding too spammy, you should only add targetted friends. Using the search feature to find your targetted friends, and add them.

I'm a twitter noob, so am I right by saying that you get as many targeted friends and then you post tweets with the url you are promoting? Is that the general overview of it?

Well I use Twitterfeed so all updates on my blogs get shown on twitter. You can get it from here http://twitterfeed.com/

I get about 200-300 hits from twitter evry day to my blogs. I got about 2100 followers on twitter. I got a few other apps, I'll se if I can make some kind of guide when I get off work tonight.

Yes. You can also add the url you are promoting to your twitter account profile. Then once you add a friends, he may go to your profile, and find your url.

Yeh that guide would be awesome mate. I'm about to jump into Twitter, just doing my research first. My main question is how do you drive that traffic from Twitter to your sites. Do you just post a tweet with your URL or is it a combination of doing that and having your URL in your profile and having conversations with people etc?
