We had a startup that we failed to get profitable with for a number of reasons... What we are left with, is an 30,000 email list built over 2 years, of company executives and decision makers only. We are talking about CEOs, Managing Directors, Chairmen, General Managers, Presidents, Partners, Founders. The lowest rank is probably a business development manager.

The list is divided by name, title, (sometimes mobile number), email address, gender, facebook page, twitter account, and most important, the specific function of the company (for eg. Marketing, Construction, Healthcare Management, Pest Control, etc.). All the businesses are local businesses.

i already have all the mass emailing structure setup that we were using for our newsletters,I want ideas on how I could monetize this highly targeted list as I am not very familiar with the tactics, and I want to know what this list is worth.

    Thanks

Considering the nature of the contacts, sell advertising on your email list to B2B service providers. This could be list members selling their services to other list members or other service providers hoping to market to them.

I have a friend who does something like that. He offers advertising to businesses for a small fee and asks them to add their professional contacts as well so that they can see their ads. Basically, he gets paid to grow his list.

Thanks ,so what you mean is, i should contact service providers such as pest control companies for eg. or companies that sell business cards. I would tell them that I have this highly targeted list, where we could target the companies with different ads based on their line of business. I didn't exactly get what your friend does. He asks them to add their professional contacts so that they can see their ads where?

DAMN!!! You could potentially have a gold mine on your hands!
You could either sell the list for a huuuge profit or sell TO the list amazing products. Just head over to some really serious offers, not crappy Clickbank products: business deals, media offers, jv partnerships, or any other high ticket product.

@Raabez He has an email list. Someone from Company A wants to advertise their product. He suggests that he should add his friends from Company B, G and U, so that their business could get the ads and possibly buy from one another.

Basically, Company A guy pays my friend to expand his list.

Could you please elaborate further as our initial line was totally different and i'm new to this type of work. What types of business deals, media offers etc. do you believe I should aim for?How do such deals usually work, I don't wanna get ripped off.
