Monetization Suggestions For Large Entertainment Network

I run a fairly large entertainment network offering streaming episodes such as Family Guy, Futurama, etc. I have about 140,000 unique visitors daily and used to earn about $15,000 monthly through CPM networks, specifically CPX. They're starting to hold my earnings and all the other networks are shit that I've seen.



Things I've already come up with:

• Cookie Stuffing
• Zango Gateway
• CPALead Gateway
• CPXInteractive, freedomofads (scammers), axill, integri, captainad, lunaparking
• Graboid
• ClickBank (fucking shavers)
• Premium Membership

I'd rather not give my users adware or any crap like that, so if you're posting just to mention PPI, please don't. They're also a bit smarter than I thought and I didn't see any spectacular results with Zango anyway.

My question is, what would be highly profitable to monetize my network with? If you have anything to say about cloaking my cookie stuffing I'd appreciate it if you PM me some ideas.

Looks like you've got a fair number of things to start testing. You might also try AdBrite, as they have a CPM program as well. Unfortunately, CPM will probably be your best option (except for the gateways you mentioned) as your surfers probably won't click ads. You could also try the new linkpayer thing; perhaps an interstitial before playing the clip would work.

Have you tried the obvious donation/buy me a beer button yet? If you could stick it in a DHTML popup when requesting the clip, you might be able to get some coin with a "costs too much to host this; help keep this site going" type spiel. Good luck!

I wouldn't go with Zango, even if it did work. If you think about it Zango really is a losing proposition. One of two things will happen...you'll either turn off your viewers or they will install the software and you'll only get paid for that one install. Everytime they come back, they'll already have the software so no more money... Building you own content protection gateway isn't that hard, and with just a little work you'll be able to monetize alot more viewers using CPA offers...you could even geotarget the offers to capitalize on the highest payout for each visitor...

I have a free tv site and wouldnt mind some of your free traffic....

Also get some TV software such as offered by nettvpc.com

The software carries affiliate links to clickbank products that can make you big wonga....
