    Yahoo isn't allowed to use backlinks when deciding how to rank a page; at least not in the way G is doing it. That's why they (& Bing) care more about domain age, onsite seo and matching content on subpages. I find it hard to get G to show a relevant subpage. It keeps insisting on putting the index.html even if it is not the most relevant place for the given search string.
