There must be something I can use the subs for (they range from 1000 to 40000 members) and they´re constantly growing
I think about starting a general porn site (like xvideos and xhamster) OR a Niche pornsite

You should try to market the access somehow. You either build a porn website or you sell promotion to other porn websites. But either way.. Good for you, you must be really active to become mod on 5 subreddits.

Have you considered charging models from OnlyFans for promotional placement on your subreddit pages?
 
Have you tried anything so far?

You have a good foundation for a good start, don't be too aggressive...

Depending on whether you want to go the easy way or hard way. Easy way sell advertising, hard way build a site.

He could get a domain and forward it to a cam or dating offer, actually. It's what I'd do.

A website eats up a lot of time, extra (hosting) costs and requires to have a plan. The only reason to start a website over domain forwarding to an affiliate offer is the potential of organic traffic. In this case, the OP will be using Reddit as traffic source, and if he actively mods 5 subreddits (approving posts?), chances are he won't have time to properly maintain a website.
 
sell your subreddit for money, i think you can get about 20$ each 1k subs
 
I would say Why not? I mean you already moderating 5 subreddits and you have a pretty good chance of making some good money with some effort in the beginning. But go for the porn niche, don't go for the general vanilla one. You can check Adent's scripts, avs, wp script etc to set up your porn site easily.

If I were you with 5 subreddits I would have definitely tested one to see how it goes!

Since I'm also a mod on big subs I have a question - Where to find these models contacts and safely offer them banner/link or sticky post since this is a big NO NO by Reddit rules.
 
display ads will pay pennies, you are better off promoting OF girls.
