Moderator change my name please

I don't think it is possible to change username once registered.
 
lol it's not possible, even i tried to check it in cpl after seeing all the fancy names out here. Anyways, what's in the name :P
 
Do you have an important reason to change your name? It won't be changed unless you have a good reason.

If he creates a new account without speaking with an administrator
about it first, he could be banned for multiple account creation.

Therefore, your suggestion is VERY BAD ADVICE.

then contact one of our administrators. However, as meathead
has stated, you cannot just arbitrarily change your user name
simply because you have decided that you want a different one.

I talked with bigbuddy about changing my name a while back and he said only pofecker could do this request.. tried sending him a message on here and irc.. but i'm sure he's really busy and hasn't had time to respond yet.

I created my name without really thinking about things years ago.. and i'd like to change mine as well.. as it links to youtube/last.fm .. and some other accounts.. I'd just like bhw to be completely seperate from my other accounts.

@wiz .. do you think that request would be honored? or would it be better if I just deleted/created a new account.. what mod should I contact about that if you aren't sure?

I'm wondering if I do delete if my name will change to 'deleted member' or if my posts with my name would still be left here.. cause that'd defeat the purpose if so.

anyone know?

As a way of discouraging capricious name-changing, BHW could charge a modest fee of say $50 in order to make the change. Easier than trying to get permission to close an account and open a new one, and without the risk or trying to do so without authorization.

Yeah reading that thread makes me realise why you're seeking a name change. You can't just run from bad stuff you may have done, there is no simple 'reset' button....
 
Obviously isn't intelligent enough to realize that even a name change will still have his past threads publicly viewable. Always go through someone's past posts before doing business with them.
