Been researching on it and even though I haven't seen a doc and been diagnosed with
ADHD or the likes I'm pretty sure I have it mildly, most times. I was thinking of giving this pill
a try just to see what happens.

Seen plenty of videos and it seems like something that's not too risky to give a go
compared to say, Adderall. If you don't know what it is, then look videos on youtube. It's a smart drug apparently
and Modafinil is for narcoleptic people. But normal folks, get some pretty crazy focus from it.

What do you guys think of it? have you tried it? If so,
what where the effects/side effects that you got from it?

I know people who take Modafinil/Provigil regularly, for years, without any side effects.

Modafinil, for me, completely and absolutely obliterates my need to sleep. I could take it at 2 am, and spend 8 hours working without wanting to sleep at all, completely lucid and clear. I would suggest you read Dave Asprey/Tim Ferriss' take on it and try it once for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

you could just go some piracetam and choline

it wont increase your intelligence, but you will be more focused.

People like you are pathetic. You feel the need to take drugs to get ahead and convince yourself that you have some sort of underlying mental condition (which many people would argue doesn't even exist) to justify it.

Whatever it takes to get ahead. This is about acquiring focus for longer periods of time whether or not you HAVE a mental disability (if you even believe in that shit). Sometimes I can't focus due to a foggy mind, this is me asking about peoples experience why waste time blabbering your opinion if you don't immerse your own self into it? And you know nothing about me to claim that bs. :)

I haven't actually tried Modafinil yet. I was really tempted to but there's many people who say they've felt nothing from it.

I've done nearly all the ADHD meds before, I don't have ADHD. They are great until you experience the side effects. Adderall in particular is no good the first time you take it as you feel very stimulated and you won't want to sit down and study, you'll want to do something that involves you moving. I felt like I was on cocaine the first time I took Adderall. Also the comedowns on Adderall can be pretty harsh, same for Ritalin and Vyvanse. You'll also become addicted and dependent on these drugs if you take them on a daily basis. Fortunately for me I don't get addicted to anything.

I may give Modafinil a go. I forgot all about it and you've just reminded me about it. I was going to try it ages ago but like I say the bad reviews were putting me off :)

Also don't bother with anything from the racetams group (e.g Piracetam), they are junk and you'll feel nothing apart from placebo effects.

You asked at the bottom of your original post what people think of it, and I told you. I know enough about you already.

I tried some nootropics (various racetams, choline, ALCAR etc.) and made good research about this stuff, specially Modafinil since most people say it is the best stimulance drug.

The thing about it is that it can have very serious side effects. It messes up your sleep cycles (therefore I wouldnt recommend it to take it on a daily basis, most suggest to take it 1-2x per week) and there are some cases where patients got Steven Johnsson Syndrom (basicly your skin dies). It is not proven that modafinil was the cause of the SJS, but the possible risk stopped me from wanted to try it. Also, I´ve read from one poster that he got very serious nerve damages after trying it and have to suffer from pain since then.

so before buying it, do some good research (the site longecity is great for nootropics etc) and decide for yourself. If you are starting out with nootropics, I recommend you to get Piracetam, ALCAR and some good choline. The effects are very subtle, so you need to take it a few weeks usually before notcing any effects. All of these substances have zero side effects, except maybe headaches which is a syndrom that you need more or less choline.

Also, a very good natural green tea (Gyokoru) is the best nootropic which worked for me.

I looked into Adderall first but don't think it's a good idea for me. Provogil seems like a better option to try out. I have never
gotten into the Piracetams and etc but I have tried Alpha Brian from Onnit. I got sick unfortunately the next morning with the flu
so I never got to really experiment with it. Let me know how it turns out if you try it, I may buy some soon. ;)

Dont be judgemental, specially about things you obviosuly have no clue about. You saying that ADHD may not even exist is not only ridiculous, but also kinda offensive against people who are suffering from it.

Good decision on deciding against Adderall, it's hard to get, very faked and if you do get the real stuff then it will mess you up in the long run.

Modafinil does seem like a good option, however it seems like it's just going to keep you awake rather than help you focus, but it's worth a shot.

Another thing to possibly try is SNS Focus XT, I know it's a bit hyped up but some of the reviews looks genuine. I was tempted to give this a go as well as it's OTC.

I'm interested in Provigil as well! But I live in the Netherlands and I can't find a webshop that delivers it to my country.

I did try noopept with choline however, it made me feel very good and sociable.

Could you PM where you buy it? And if you are going to try it please tell me your experiences!

    Cheers,

I bought 110 tablets (200mg each) recently and got the package about 2 weeks ago, came from India.

I write all the articles for my site on weekends. First weekend I took 100mg Saturday morning and pretty much stayed at my desk all day, got a slight headache about an hour after taking the tablet but that didn't last long, also got a bit of diarrhea.

Didn't feel like sleeping that night (but never really do) so I took another 100mg at around 4am and continued to work until Sunday night. Didn't do as much work on Sunday but I was surprised I was even still awake.

Doubled the dose last weekend up to 200mg and effects didn't change much, got about the same amount of work done. So will be going back to 100mg this weekend.

Definitely something to look into OP, since I only take Moda on weekend the amount of tablets I have should last me around a year! They don't cost much either.

Just because people are taught by their masters that the Earth is flat, doesn't mean Galileo didn't see those moons orbiting Jupiter.

Yes exercise is something I do around 4-6 times a week and Meditation, I really need to give this a go again, and more
routinely. I guess I'm someone who wants to try everything at least one time. Whether it be coke, smart pills, etc. Call it stupid
but there's a first time to everything and I am not the type to get addicted as I can remind myself it's not worth it for the long run. One time won't be a problem for me.

I will update when I have tried Modafinil as it seems the safest one right now. Also other stacks of 'nootropics' and the likes.

    :)
