Anyone ever hear of the concept of Mod Rewrite using and making adjustments to the server to get terms and threads added to a page automatically?

Apparently there is a way to adjust the server to do this.

You might get more responses if you gave more details in your post, as at the moment it's as clear as mud.

    thanks....

I heard of this technique in passing.

i'm not sure exactly what it is...but it has something to do with getting your server to work with a program script on the website to command prompt feeds into your website (similar to RSS feeds)

At this point, someone will ask "well what the difference?" to which i would say "i don't know...that's why i'm posting the question!"

That being said...does anyone know of or has anyone heard of Mod-rewrite?

Yes its possible. Basically you redirect all pages in .htaccess to index.php (same thing that wordpress does). You have your index.php read the keywords out of the URL and then automatically construct content based on those keywords.

Don't ask me how to do it ... just google mod rewrite to get all URLs interpreted by index.php. google how to read variables out of the URL. Google how to use the variables to load rss feeds or whatever you want to do for automatic content creation.
