    Hello,

I want to create a website optimized for mobile use for a friend of mine who runs a local business.
What is the best way to create one? Any program you can recommend? I've seen millions being released as "WSOs" on Warriorforum and the like...

Why should I recode his entire website to make it responsive if I can just get him a simple mobile site?

Site wont need to be recoded just made mobile responsive. Depending in the site $50 to $200 and a couple of days work.

I suggest you take a look at Bootstrap. Its a frontend framework designed by the guys who run twitter, I've been using it lately to build website when I need the site to be mobile responsive. (btw. that mean the layout will resize/reconfigure if you change your browser window size,or if your on a mobile).

All you would have to do is change a few CSS argument where you want the colomn of your layout to be responsive, maybe add a custom menu for mobile. But at the end you would keep your current site, just add a little bit.of code.

This site is dedicated to examples of bootstrap (try resizing the window): lovebootstrap.com

You can also try "Fundation", its another popular frontend framework for responsive design.
