    Hello Folks,
I've been thinking to start an E-commerce website but not sure what exactly will help me among the Mobile App or Mobile Site.
Which would be easy for marketing?

You can have both. A mobile responsive website is a must in 2015. After you see some success with it you can hire a freelancer to build an Android/iOS app that pulls data from the website.
If you need a website done you can contact me and i will show you my portfolio.

    Okay, that's great.
I'm a web developer too, but I'll need App developer after some days.
    Thinking about that too :)

Mobile site first, your site needs to be responsive anyway now days. Benefit with mobile site is that you get support for all mobile devices unlike with apps where you need to have own app for each platform (at least iOS and Android). You can also consider what benefits you would have by having an app, I don't see any compared to the Mobile site which can be also bookmarked as an app into the mobile device.

Yes, agree with this. You should make both but make mobile site first, in some countries people are having mobile phones which could not support new applications because they're having mobile phones installed with Android 2.3 and the user couldn't install if you make the app for Android 4.0 and above (App specific for Android 4.0 and above is the standard now). And if you make apps first, how people on other mobile platform (think Windows Phone, Blackberry) can install them? so, stay safe by making mobile site before mobile app...

As mentioned above by few others, mobile site first is definitely better idea as there are lots of limitations with mobile aps and if you are starting a new thing an from marketing point of view, you would love to reach as many as you can to bring awareness and branding.

Now-a-days mobile apps play a vital role in increasing our eCommerce business growth. Earlier an optimized website was enough to target online shoppers as major portion of them was using websites for product purchase. Now, the trends have been changed. Customers wants everything to be at available their fingertips. They do not want a complex interface to deal with when it comes to shopping. So, mobile applications are a kind of necessity for your business.
