So a month ago I started 4 Micro niche sites, and just about have all the content finished for them. Now I have a few questions about what I need to include to make sure the legal/privacy information is correct.

Keep in mind these are Whitehat, and only using Adsense. Im not selling anything or distributing anything.

So the main site I am worried about, is a site based on a specific product from a large company. It has information on the product (how it works, what it is, different versions, etc) .. For an example; lets say it was like a Car made from Ford. I wrote these 10 pages on the car, now what do I need to add to the site to make sure that Ford doesnt sue me for putting images/info on their product?? Or take down the website??

I see that a Privacy and legal page are part of SEO.. Can anyone direct me to a detailed walkthrough of what I need for that? Is there anything else I need to put specifically about the product itself??

Maybe a line at the bottom saying "This page is not affiliated with X company, and is made as an information-only website"???

Just don't infringe. Don't use trademarked slogans, names, etc and don't use their copyrighted content like pictures and logos.

How can I not use trademarked names?? The product is the product; without its name theres no site.. It would be like if you wanted to make a website on Corvettes, but instead of saying Corvette you say "pointy-shaped car".. Clearly for delivering accurate information, that wont work.

That's obviously not what I meant, or else every retailer in America would be in trouble. But you can't just say, "remember, Budweiser is the king of beers." Using their names AND slogans to promote your stuff. Even if your stuff is their stuff. (You can't just say, "I'm going to start up a Chevy dealership today." And start throwing up Cheverolet signs, logos and slogans on your advertisements. They can sue you for that. And yes, even for the term "Corvette." I'm sure they've got a pretty tight grip on that one, so if you plan on starting a LEGIT dealership, you need to contact them and ask before you start making Corvette signs. You can however, make all the "pointy-shaped-car" signs you'd like.)

If you want to do it legit, just call them. Most large companies/corps will have somebody that handles trademarks and legal mumbo jumbo... What they will and won't sue you for. Even still, just do it until they serve you a C&D.
