    Hey,

just a couple questions. I sold an MMO account, in May, which is roughly 7 months ago, to a friend, through Paypal, for a couple hundred bucks. We only knew eachother online, but after something that happened recently, he decided he'd be an asshole and issue a Paypal Dispute. Now I'm curious - after it's been 7 months, and it's Digital goods, can he issue a Dispute? or is he just being a tard and bluffing? I thought after 90 days Dispute's can't be issued? I'm the seller, he's the buyer. Is it possible for him to Dispute it after 7 months - 200+ days, after he received the account, and has been playing it? Neither of us can prove that he received the account, nor that he didn't, so it really just comes down to if he can issue a Dispute or not.

    Thanks for the help!

This happens all the time and afaik ebay/paypal doesn't provide protection for electronic goods so you may be fucked here.

He shouldn't be able to dispute it since PayPal doesn't cover digital goods.

paypal will send the money back to the buyer when its digital goods. happens to me all the time its annoying. I sell game accounts and then a couple of month later without any proof or anything the buyer just contacts paypal and makes up what ever excuse they do and get it back
