I have been into IM for 5 years.

I feel like I miss those times when I was a nooob, the things I do everyday in those times, sites I visit often, things I often do in those times, songs I listen in those times.Hard work and research I did in those times, thing I learn in those times.

You guys miss those moments ?

i certainly dont miss the surges of hope that i used to get when i was 'lucky enough' to have received an early bird alert to a gurus new product launch that would do xyz for me automatically.

i bought sooooo much shit in the early days thinking that because i had money, it gave me a leg up to let me short circuit the route to my inevitable success (ha!)

the number of email lists i ended up on left me dizzy trying to work out which route to go - mini adsense sites, building my own social media site, clickbank marketing, site rental to local businesses, jesus wept i was green. best thing that ever happened to me was not only finding bhw, but coming back to it - i first found bhw about a year before i actually began using it - warrior forum was where i felt 'safe' and thats where i hung out before gravitating to the likes of mike filsaime and thats when my inbox began overflowing with offers from jv partners he had, offers from their jv partners, and theirs and theirs etc etc

there ought to be a health warning against those sort of people, or more likely, an ftc action against I.M.'ers for misrepresenting their products when their sales pages could easily qualify as literary works of fantasy.

so anyway, no, i dont miss those halcyon days.....

I know I will miss IM one day... lucky that day won't come soon!
It's like playing a game you like A LOT, I mean, like A HELL LOT!
After many years of playing (or couple of days - end of game) ; you look back at how fun it was at start, how cool it was etc.. etc..

but then, once you already know everything, you feel fuck'd ... You wish to be brainwashed so you could play it again & have the great experience again!

    :)

Right now I am in that nooby part where everything is new and exciting. I signed up to this website long ago just to completely put it on the back burner. This week has been very educational for me but man... I am reading to many topics and starting to get sidetracked with all the information that can be found.

What I constintly think to myself, "If I was an active member when I first signed up where would I be right now?" I cannot regret anything though. Hence why I am here now and trying to stay focused. Starting up small and hoping to see great things in weeks months and hopefully years to come.

I came up with the proverb:
"Novelty is the fruit that keeps an old man young"

You know that excitement.. You know, when you reload your Adsense account, and you see a huge jump in earnings. Or that feeling when you refresh your ClickBank reports and see some sales for the day.

Dont take those feelings for granted. They are the little things that make the bigger picture.

I have been there too and found that the way to overcome it is by coming up with an even bigger goal -- challenge yourself more than using the same methods -- try to innovate and change the game. It makes it much more exciting than following the same formula.

Well, normally we say that we learn until we die. I know you are not a noob anymore (because you said it, lol) but some things can be taken to a new level :) Just discover it.

I know what you mean, and IM is a very addictive game, considering that the prizes are in money, well.. =)

I wish I started way younger, way earlier, and have the sort of drive I have right now 5, maybe even 10 years ago. Now I feel like I'm always against the clock, constantly dodging sleep and doing everything I can to learn more and come up with ideas and learning new languages. Sure it's great to have those first few bucks coming in but it'd be better to have those zeros in the bank and to buy what you want.
