I hope someone here can help.

I have started a trial with Similarweb and SEMRush.

So far so good, it shows that there has been a drop from FB to the site of 2000 visitor's per months, but how the he.. can I see what course this drop?

Another "funny thing" I can see a drop on some high traffic keywords which were No. 1 and dropped so traffic drop is 20K visitors per months, any idea what to do? I have updated the content and doing it every day now for the pages, do you think that will do it?

Wait you mean you’re ranking high then you updated that content and rank drop happened if yes, then wait for few days it’ll automatically come back either same level or even higher. If it doesn’t then do a site audit

The website was mostly likely affected by any of the updates.

About FB traffic... maybe page driving the most traffic got banned or you stopped ads (just wild guesses here)

No it ranks high for a long time, so no real update on that page and it drops dramatically much traffic. Now I updated these pages and wonder if you think that will do the trick to get it back again?

How would you audit such behaviour, I mean what tool would you use and how would you do it?

naahh, the FB account is still active no problem and sending at least 2K visitors to the site, so it is the drop I'm interested in to learn about.

I'm not talking about account but FB page driving the traffic.

So you're saying the traffic back to normal now?

no it is not back to normal in May it send 5000 visitors to my money site, in August only 1700 as you can see it is 2300 less, now I was wondering how to figure out why and where these visitors are gone to.

If you have same ranking but drop the traffic so there is no issue maybe the search behavior of audience changed or something like that

Yeah I can see, the site ranked for some generic kewords, several actually, (according to similar web) which had 800K searches by Google, very high and dropped, that may be the entire story about it. Just looking into it to see how to get back on track.

yeah the complete analysis is recommended.

yes, pretty new to all of this. So far the website has just run for years and never thought about any SEO traffic is just organic growing so I thought I would give it a try and see if I can help the growth a little so things are going faster.

Better analyze your website, might be you have lost any backlinks that drive traffic. Also, find trending terms related to your keyword intent and optimize content for it.
