    Hi,
I originally had Mipony and then erased it cause I thought it sucked. I got Internet Download Manager and while it is great for downloading in general it does not match Mipony in terms of what Mipony does as far as downloading from sites like megaupload.

My only question is am I missing something in the Internet Download Manager gui that would replicate this functionaly? With mipony I simply pasted the links below (from a M0g0l share on this forum) and it knew how to get all the links from megaupload. Can this functionality be replicated with IDM and if so can someone explain to me how? Sorry if this is the wrong forum I just didnt know where else to post it.

    Thx & links:

If you have a premium account at megaupload then insert the login into IDM and then the links will be downloaded instantly, same as direct downloads

I do have a premium with megaupload.

With mipony I copy and pasted the links into the top portion and then it automatically figured out the page and provided links to mega, this one, that one (dont remember the names).

With IDM I just tried adding Mega in the options. Even after doing that if I go tasks > add batch download from clipboard it just thinks they are all html documents. It does not seem smart enough to parse the links to the download sites the way mipony does. Does this make sense? I can probably screen shot both if that would help

Open IDM> Options > Sites Logins , and Put your megaupload account's username and password there. Now it will it automatically figured out.

I tried that already. It still sees the links I pasted as html downloads. It does not appear smart enough to parse it out the way mipony does

    Thx for trying though

Unless there is something new on the market, as far as I know there is no good alternative to Mipony and Jdownloader.

Yeah they suck. The first due its IE dependency the second due to Java. But they do their job well.

Try a different browser. In the new browser login to your megaupload account (make sure "Remember Me" is checked) .

Now open a megaupload link.IDM will automatically grab it.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

.........Wait are you trying with a megaupload link or a multiupload link?
