I would say that real views would be classified as people that are actually interested in the video/not just doing it for money or for their videos to get views.

Pretty sure it just means that each view comes from a different and valid I.P, so Youtube thinks it's a real person viewing the video.

So what your saying is that the view is counted in the stats as a real person so a valid ip so that the view gets count, otherwise it wouldn't hit the viewcounter? Am i right?

    I consider Real views to

    1: View atleast 50% - 70% of the video
    2: Adsense Safe
3: That the refers are good

Pretty much "Real" views should have the same outcome of somebody with real subscribers viewing the videos (excluding Comments, Likes and Favorites)

if it is real views ,there will be some kind of activity or else just view numbers nothing else. They are very less people who provide real views.

When it comes to views, I believe there are actually TWO definitions of what is considered "Real". One of which means "real live human beings" watching and interacting with your video, with unique IPs, ratings, fav'ing and comments on the video, along with which comes variable view lengths. The other definition is what some sellers refer to as "Real" and by that they mean what "appears" to YT as "Real Humans", but are actually botted views in disguise. I think most buyers of views are under the impression that "Real" means real live humans watching and interacting with their video, which in most instances, is simply not the case.

My general opinion of real would be about viewers who 'appreciate' the content, either positively or negatively. What I mean is, if I see a video that has a 100'000 views but only 5 likes, I just get annoyed with the person who made it for generating 'fake' views to try and appear more successful. On the other hand, if the 100'000 views have anywhere above 2'000 likes, I'd be more prone to think of it as validly interesting and 'real'. Even if it was 'dislikes' it would still seem more 'real' to me.

Ok, i'll explain what real views are. They are views which the user about to watch your video is NOT forced to watch (Like Vagex or EnhanceViews) and could potentially earn feedback as well as a subscriber. <---These could be targeted users.

However in the business world, it means that it is different people viewing the video, doesn't matter how long or whether they are being forced to watch it on their PC, or are even interested in the video.

As well as this, some people say mobile views are fake because they can be produced from 1 source and are not organically produced.

Real views are any view that gets counted on you tube in my opinion. It gives your video more juice and it makes it better for when targeted views come by. Targeted views are completely different from real views. Targeted views would be like traffic from a blog about your niche going to your you tube page. Real views (or just views) are used to get your video to maybe go viral or gain credibility and targeted views are used to convert to whatever your trying to use your video for. ( for example to promote your website.) Hope this helps.

Ok, so so e of you guys are saying views such as mobile arent real because they come from the same I.P etc.

I have a few methods where I can send views from anywhere I want, even Facebook or Twitter, and they will watch th video for 30 seconds. So you guys are now saying the method I just said would be classed as real views, even though they are still coming from the same I.P like mobile views?
