I only know that it takes some time to gain a large following and traffic to a fresh site.
Microblogs are short and fast(how many pages?), landing page, description of products, and a product page.

Authority niche site would take probably hundreds of articles and no income until it ranks.

Which is better to do or can you combine everything in one. Is it realistic to say 20k/year of one blog is doable by anyone that puts in the time to get the blog rank #1 in their own niche? Stable?

Or is it better to continue throwing information out, flip sites, and keep going with the trends to make money? Anyone with experience that can help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

I would focus on making 1 big authority site. But you can definitely go the microblog way, a lot of people do that, but sometimes it's easier to just focus on one big site and keep the momentum rolling there...
