Micro Niche Site Structure

I'm in the process of setting up my first micro niche site. I've written my first keyword enriched article and now I'm ready to upload.

Where though?

Initially I plan to add 10 articles then outsource writing later to target more long tail keywords.

Do I have 10 articles with their own pages or do I add new articles as posts within the blog?

For my microniche sites, I usually add them as pages. I've found it to work easier for me. Both work though.

you can use both posts and pages. i have noticed that posts seem to be indexed faster altough.

What I do for my MNS is add a page for the main keyword. I then assign that page to the homepage. You can do this in settings > Reading. If your using wordpress. I then add the rest of my pages as posts.

Excellent advise thanks guys. I'm using the heat map theme and it seems theres an option for the exact purpose of having a "master" article on the main page.

That's also what I'm about to do.

Site gets indexed as soon as I make my first post.
