Hey guys, so I've set up my very own micro niche AdSense website. I'm planning on creating many more and websites of this nature. However I'm curious once everything is up and running what would be the best ways to rank my website on Google? I'm assuming it is less work to rank Micro niche than established keywords, however what are the best techniques that are used to rank these sorts of websites and make sure they stay at the top of the search results?

Do micro niche websites need constant back links throughout their lifetime or can initial back links be enough to keep it at the top of the search results? Does each article on the micro niche website need back links? What are the best types of back links to use such as social media? Article back links? Etc where are the best places to acquire cheap back links, I have tried fiverr gigs in the past without much success.

Thank you in advance for your help

It's a tough one really, it depends on how competitive your keyword is.
I bought a MNS on here and after spending a small sum of money on it, it's currently on page 1 of Google.com and Google.co.uk for its primary keyword.

The age of the site is a big factor, and the older a site is, the stronger it's position will become. There's many things you can do yourself, such as making web 2.0's for the site (use a combo of page rank 7, 8 and 9) as well as getting social signals pointing to the site.

If you're using Wordpress, be sure to utilise the header tags properly, as well as using all in one seo plugin. Oh, and if you're using Adsense on the site, you'll need a privacy policy on the page as well.

I feel that if you use high quality backlinks, then you'll only need to build them initially. There's no need to spend several thousands of dollars worth of money to rank a MNS.

Thankyou so much for your reply, i'll look into getting an aged domain for this purpose. By web 2.0 do you mean things like posting your link on reddit etc? For the social signals, I assume I can get some drip fed facebook, twitter etc likes

Is this all that's required for very low competition keywords? No need to spin articles on different article websites for example?

Try to build backlinks manually on different platforms, yes reddit is a good authority site but dont build more than 1 or 2 backlinks from the same website. Dont use ur primary keyword a lot of times. Use related keywords too. Before u build backlinks, first look at the target site's outbound or external links. Dont place ur money sites with too much spam.

So far I've always just ranked naturally and let it happen over time by actually focusing on what I'm doing. But to speed up the process you ideally would want an initial small boost of backlinks coming from social signals and more natural looking blog posts, articles and the other common sources and then a steady flow of backlinks over time. This along with a steady flow of traffic will keep you at the top.
