It's a very good method as long as you can find a good partner. There are some bozos (to put it lightly) out there who don't want to make money for their business using the internet, especially in the trades. Some are just set in their ways.

generating multiple businesses on local listings to generate phone calls are the way to go. For SEO purposes making the business name "[CITY] [SERVICE]" helps a lot. Ex: Los Angeles Maid Services

I targeted long tail keyword for my niche plus city/town name eg Sony television repairs in New York. I mainly target less common brands and small towns and these had less competition.
I also used cheap blog commenting and link building services found here. I created an online persona and did social signals myself as well as citations.

TBH I did very basic stuff which means local SEO is easy to rank if you put some effort into it.

Thanks for taking your time to share this with all of us, my concern is how you managed to close the first deals if you knew nothing in that service. Didn't it require you to talk to clients in order to understand what their appliances issues were?

Hey mate, there is nothing to be worried about here. You just reverse engineer the process. There is no need to know the tech jargon because you won't be fixing appliances over the phone.

You ask the prospect about the kind of problems they experiencing and you tell them you are sending your technicians to investigate/diagnose.

Caller: Ring ring
You: Speed Tech, how may I help you?

Caller: My TV set is not showing picture I need someone to come over and look at it for me.
You: May I have your name, address and the time that you are available so that we can send one of our senior technicians to you.

Caller: My is Donald and the address is State House Washington and I am available at 10 am.
You: John, our senior technician will be coming to your place at 10 am today and assess your TV and give you a quote. If you approve the quote he will fix it on-site.

Is there anything I can assist you with?

Caller: That's all I wanted help with.
You: Thank you for calling Speed Tech.

You forget to mention the part this is not your method.

I can't recall 123 who made it but I stumbled across this guide a couple years ago.

It's a basic layout you can tweak in many ways but don't write it like you made it.

Why should I go about copying people's stuff here but then again I am not Henry Ford who invents things.

I can't control what happens in the universe. I started doing this method before I even started reading about IM. This is not all about copying people or trying to score some points here. I have done this since 2015 and as you know everything has been done before.

So, if it was shared here before my apologies MODS can delete this thread. BUT no one taught this expect the desperation that I was in.

I don't know about you mate, but each and every method that is being shared here has been done or is being done by someone.

Please forgive for being a human being who thinks like this 123 of yours. If something is was shared here doesn't make it unique.

I have a pretty complete list of business types and categories along with how popular their searches are (in my area) in an Excel spreadsheet. I think it would go hand in hand with this method for targeting under-represented businesses.
