It is a boring rainy day and feeling lonely sitting in my office. Tea and B&H is the only companion for a while. So just thought, why not I am hanging out with my fellow IM guys! So let?s go dig deep facebook marketing.
Many people are trying their luck with facebook marketing. The most common complain I heard that ?Facebook PPC Sucks?. Many newbie or facebook starter are afraid of starting FB marketing because when they Google to know other people?s experience with FB marketing they come up with some pathetic story on how people are losing money on PPC or getting their account banned fast. These stories are true (partially). Do you know many others are making up to $10k per day just by running FB PPC for promoting CPA offers?
So what is the secret of successful Facebook Marketing? Lemme show you the how to run a successful CPA campaign through facebook.
    Step-1:
The critical questions you should ask and answer yourself before starting a Facebook marketing campaign:

    • What offer to promote?
    • Who are your user bases?
    • What should be your ROI?
    • What to do to hit the targeted ROI?
    Step-2:
If you have answered the above question then you have already choose your offer. Now go through the following checklist to check if your picked offer is worth promoting or not.

    • Does the offer save mass people or a group of people?s daily or unavoidable expense?
    • How narrow or broad is your niche?
    • How much time your targeted people stays online and for what purpose? (* Common Sense and Assumption)
For example, let?s compare between 2 offers. First one is ?Free Restaurant Gift card? and the second one is ?Free Huggies Diaper Sample?. What will convert best? Theoretically both will convert same. Actually they will not. With same budget and same level of user targeting ?Free Huggies Diaper Sample? will convert more than the ?Free Restaurant Gift Card?. The reason lies between the levels of desperateness of user base. Nobody searches seriously for Restaurant Gift card because expense at Restaurant is not their unavoidable expense while Diaper expense is pretty unavoidable for the families having a baby.
    Step-3:
This is another crucial step of the campaign because you gonna make your landing page. The best landing page for a Facebook campaign is a well designed Fan Page. You can go for an external landing page either but Fan page are still best. The simple psychology behind this is- People feel secure browsing and taking actions inside Facebook rather than an external page.
While designing your landing page you must have consider following factors seriously:

    • Background: You will come up with a story like you are Sarah, proud mother of a new born baby and supportive wife of John who works for a small firm. And also how you save $500+ per month and support your husband just by keeping eyes on free deals online. You have opened this page to help and get helped by sharing information with similar mentality or situation.
    • Call-to-Action: Make the page looks professional and put a opt-in form and describe how subscription gonna make things easier for them to get updated with new deals.
    • Simplicity: Keep the fanpage simple and easy to use. Don?t distract them with high graphics. Describe everything to the point.
    Step-4:
Now you gonna spend some time to setup your autoresponder. Setup your emails with some real deal. You will find real deals from sites like retailmenot.com etc. Do not promote CPA offer until you earn their trust. Usually it is better to promote offer once a week. Follow the general email marketing guidelines.
    Step-5:
Now create a new ad for your fanpage. This step is one most important step of the whole campaign. Be honest at writing ad copy. While targeting, use your common sense. Like while promoting a ?Free Huggies Diaper Sample? you should target user who are Female, Age range 23-35, relation status ? married and they have interest in regular lifestyle like kid movies, family TV shows etc etc.
    Step-6:
Don?t set and forget. Analyze your result and try to increase conversion rates by any means to maximize ROI.
    Resources:

    • You will find Facebook ad coupon for $5 or less at forums like DP, WF etc.
    • VCCs are also available at forums at cheap price.
Hope you enjoyed my writing. Sorry for my terrible English(It is my second language)

    • Thanks Thanks x 25

Thank you Autoblogger =) I've heard many stories about failed PPC campaigns, but at least your method seems reasonable and profitable!

I do have a few questions, though. Do you outsource your fan page creation? Or is there a free or cheap tool you use (or, possibly, do you just do it manually)?

Also, is this totally whitehat? I have no experience with FB ppc, so I'm not familiar of their attitude/policies toward cpa promotion fan pages or profiles (just want to know if I would have to use a VPN).

    Thank you!

There are some free autoresponder like Mailchimp...But I recommend using Aweber. They have 1 month trial for $1 and pay as you go package.

This method is 100% whitehat and doesn't violate any of FB TOS.
For Fanpage design you can use pre-built templates(will find a bunch of at the download section)
There are others way too. Check this one:
    Code:
    http://www.wp4fb.com/
    Free and works on wordpress.

Do you think it could be successful with Clickbank (with or without landing page) ?
I couldn't get in any good network so I tried CB but no luck so far.

I don't call them fake accounts :) I call them facebook business account. There is no chance to get ban for using this method as it is all white hat(Except the VCC part).

I have never tried selling anything on facebook as I have bitter experience with Youtube. It is so tough to sell anything to social traffic.

I think casino related advertisement is not allowed at Facebook PPC(I am not sure!) Check Peerfly and some other reputed network to get good converting CPA offers.

Very helpful thread and nicely explained :)

I'd go one step further in the distinction between Whitehat and Blackhat, though, and it's this:

If you use this method to send traffic to offers which don't accept social or FB traffic, it's also BlackHat.

On the other hand, there are more than enough offers where the advertisers are perfectly happy for you to send social and/or FB traffic. For those offers, you're not just Whitehat where FB is concerned, you're now 150% Whitehat!

    Kudos for the share!

Not all the VCCz work with FB. There are still working VCCs for FB like:
    Code:
    https://www.entropay.com/

Use a landing page to redirect your offer and don't forget to blank the referrer, fb won't approve ads using a direct link or whatsoever.

Could you show us an example set up? Like the Fanpage/landing page?

About how long do you think the customer is good for before either not reading you mail any more or marking as spam?

Also, do you send the user to a CPA offer after they submit the form?

Great post, I have had some success just direct linking, but this sounds like a more sustainable method.

Subscriber are good as long as you don't annoy them with too much. The basic rule of email marketing is "Make People Happy First and Then Send Them Your Offer."
