Are there any tricks to "persuade" potential customers to buy from my website instead of my ebay listings in a way that won't net me any infractions? I know I can't outright link to product pages, but would putting a linked logo in all of my listings work? Any other techniques?

Customize your images.... In my images I have my website url with the words the better pricing store... On my website during the check out process I ask how did you come to visit us...50% of the responses are from ebay

When you ship items out just put business cards with your website on them in the package. This is also a great way to sell advertisement, if you sold 100+ items a day you can contact businesses and say something like "i can advertise your business to 100 people a day for 1 month for the low price of xxx" then you'll make some good money.

Your username could have the website domain, for example 'ShoesellerDOTcom'

You should just send them a note with their item that you'd give them a 8% discount if they buy directly from your website and explain them the 9% eBay fee. So if your product is quality and they need another one, they'd definitely go to your website to make the purchase, overtime these will build up.

I simply emailed mine after sales informing them of my website. now about 80% of my sales are via my site. I also drop the price of the items by £1 or £2 on the site to encourage them to buy there instead.

Also you can add there email address to a list from paypal when you get there money. I then email my list once a month and advertise to them.
