As much as I love my BH methods, I've really found myself making good money by doing a twist on an old method....I'll give you a general overview of it....It's easy to get started, not too time intensive, and you'll have much better SERP results than traditional bum marketing......

Here's it in a nutshell - You are using Web tools to find the hottest products and then using EzineArticles and other 2.0 properties to get multiple places on Page 1 of Google

It's so easy....If you've done traditional bum marketing before....This is way better!

Step 1 ) Find a product that's hot right now.....2 places I like to to go.

    Amazon Bestsellers
    Code:
     http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/
Browse by category and these will give you the hottest items in any given category.

    Google Product Search
    Code:
     http://www.google.com/products
This is even better....Check out the bottom of the page. They are real time
searches for products. If you refresh (or F5) you can get updated searches.
These are the items that people are looking for now.

Step 2) Jot down 5 items from step 1 that you can a) Find an affiliate program for and b) Develop a long-tail keyword phrase for your articles. Let's go over these two points in more detail.....

Finding the affiliate program - 3 ways

Amazon Associate Program (4% And Up) - This is okay only if you have no other affiliate options AND you are dealing with a $200+ item

    Code:
    https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join/landing/main.html
Ebay Partner Network ( Varies) - This is overall better than Amazon but you have to deal with items that sell regularly on eBay

    Code:
    https://ebaypartnernetwork.com/files/hub/en-US/index.html
    ****BEST METHOD****
Do a Google search for: "product name" affiliate program OR "product category" + affiliate program - 90% of the time, you will find an affiliate that pays good commissions for whatever product you wish to promote. This takes a little more research but it's worth the effort.

Developing a long-tail keyword - When you did your product search, you want to be a specific as possible of the item. Consumers that are looking to buy, type in the exact name and model of the item they're looking for. So you don't want "Panasonic TV", you want "Panasonic Viera TC-32LZ800".

Here's how you determine if your long-tail keyword is a winner.....

Go to Google and type in your exact keyword surrounded by quotes in the search bar. If you get 50,000 or less results AND you see 4 or more advertisers in the sponsored/AdWords section (right side), you have a winner.

If your results are slightly above 50,000, then try allintitle:"keyword phrase" and if you get 10,000 or less results, then you should be fine.

Step 3) You should have 2-3 items among your original list of 5. Now, let's pick the winner of the bunch. This is a two-step process.

    Go to Google Keyword Tool

    Code:
    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Enter each item separately (be sure that use synonyms is not checked) to determine monthly volume for that search term. Write down the approximate average search volume for each phrase. Obviously, the higher the better!

Go to Google Trends and enter each item name, separated by comma:

    Code:
    http://www.google.com/trends
From the graph, pick the one item that has the most attractive curve (not downward or highly volatile).

Take the item with a high search volume and an attractive graph....You should now have a clear winner to run with.

Step 4) Bum Market using your product keyword phrase.

Oh no, bum marketing! Yes, but your results are going to payoff a lot quicker because your articles are going to hit page 1 of Google right away since most specific product searches have very few competitor pages.

Here's how to you bum market quickly and painlessly. Let's use our Panasonic TV keyword phrase from before...."Panasonic Viera TC-32LZ800".

To bum market this phrase, you will have it in your title (Preferably at the start of the title) and you will have it repeat throughout a 250-300 word article 2-3 times. (Be sure the it first appears within the first 100 characters of your article text)

Focus on Ezine Articles 80% of the time but also setup articles on proven, high-PR Web 2.0 properties like Scribd, Quizilla, and Wordpress just to mix it up. Ultimately, you want your pages to take over most of the top ten of Google but for now just focus on one article at a time.

Once your article is published, see where it shows up on Google. If for some reason, it doesn't crack the top 10, use social bookmarking sites and other backlinks (slowly, don't go crazy....Google likes slow!) until it is in the top 10.

So what are you going to write about....Easy! Talk about the products benefits, features, why you like it. Take information from the product homepage. Paraphrase articles that have been written about it. So for our Panasonic example some titles might be, "The Panasonic Viera TC-32LZ800 -You Got To Get This!" or "Top 5 Benefits of the Panasonic Viera Tc-32LZ800" or "Here's Why The Panasonic Viera TC-32LZ800 Blows Away The Competition". Don't reinvent the wheel....Google information on your product and paraphrase it.

    Step 5 ) Collect Your $

I'd be the first to tell you the Black Hat is the way to go, but mixing your revenue streams is so crucial. Once you got your Black Hat method in place, give this method a try. I think you'll find it to be a consistent money maker for you.....I know it has for me! :)

If you found this info useful, please give thanks!

If you found this info confusing, post a reply....Let me reply to it....and then give thanks! :)

To be honest, I never read your ebook.....I actually based it off of a method in Instant Payday Formula......Maybe they read your ebook?

I guess you read enough stuff and things start to repeat......

Do you use a landing page or just a redirected domain?

Right now, I am averaging $100/day....Keep in mind that I'm not even spending much of my time on it since I've got more profitable methods to work on......

Then again, like all of the other White Hat methods, it's much more reliable and more passive so maybe I should spend more time on it :)

Redirected domain....When people type in the specific name and model of what they're looking for, they want to buy NOW....I'm not going to let an extra page get in the way of the purchase!

I heard that it's pretty good to promote stuff from amazon and ebay.
I only promote stuff from CJ and Never BLue.

Is your resource box on ezine an affiliate link? Is that what you're talking about. Does ezine article allow that?

EDIT: Also how many sites/articles do you have to make $100/day and how long did it take you. Realistically if I started today how long do you expect will it take me to hit that level.

    Thanks

I should add that CJ is a good place to go to as well. Lots of merchants all in one place.

Getting a membership to CJ is very easy....easier than most of the other networks out there.

Ezine is very strict on affiliate links.....

2 ways to get around it.....

Setup a top level domain and redirect to your affiliate page....Not bad to do but I would stick with cheap domains if you go this route - Try .info's on GoDaddy

    OR

Get a domain and use multiple subdomains. This is easy to do with a cpanel host. For example, register xxx.domainname.com. ...Now you can use your one domain to setup multiple subdomains for all of your products! For instance: xbox360.yourdomain.com......aceraspire3502.yourdomain.com...and so on. Your cpanel host will walk you through how to do this. Be sure to use your product keyword phrase for each subdomain -> keywordphrase.domainname.com

Top-level domains still work at ezinearticles so try it out!

In terms of numbers or required time, it's hard to say because there are some variables involved. I wouldn't spend my entire day doing this only because I know for a fact that there are much better yielding techniques out there BUT it is a great secondary stream of income so what I would do is discipline yourself to do at least 2 hours toward this method. That's exactly what I did.

If you did that then I would guess that it would take you close to a month to be at the $100/day level. I could be wrong but that's my ballpark estimate for you.

In any event, if you do pursue this, please report your progress in this thread and if I can give you some pointers along the way, I will definitely do so!

Ok, I know I'm repeating myself but this resource is that good!

Go to Google Product Search and look at the bottom. Those are real-time searches. Focus on those products that are three or four words. Those tend to be the names of the product and model name. You need to focus on long-tail product keywords.

You'd be surprised how you can rank for that long tail product keyword immediately. The reason is that either a)Very few authority sites in the SERPs for the long tail phrase AND/OR b)Very few sites overall that are optimized for the LONG TAIL phrase

Here's another idea....Jot down or take a screenshot of all the products that Google Product Search shows....Many of them one or two word product names. Now, go to Google and start putting those exact names in....Google will then give you suggestions for search, giving you some longer tail suggestions for your product.....Try it and see for yourself!

    Remember....LONG TAIL!

    Good Luck!

The funny thing is that I can get ranked quicker for physical products than for Clickbank products....I don't know why it is but maybe it's because there's a much larger pool of hot products with a fraction of the affiliate competition!

Some of you have been sending me PM's that all seem to revolve around the question of getting started......

First let me add that if you have a long tail phrase that is highly competitive, try adding "buying" keyword modifiers to find less competition in your Google searches such as "keyword product phrase"+"review" OR "buy" + "keyword product phrase".....OR something similar. Use the Google Adwords Keyword tool to help give you suggestions

Here's an example that you can run with.....

Garmin Nuvi 760 is one of the top sellers on Amazon right now.

"Garmin Nuvi 760" is too competitive....."Garmin Nuvi 760 best price" shows 6,260 results
AND 880 monthly searches (according to Google Keyword Tool).....

So I entered it into Google and I see 5 results in Adwords side (Good) and 4 2.0 properties among the top 10 in Google, like Squidoo & EzineArticles (Excellent!)

There's no reason why you cannot be in the top 10 right away for this phrase......Hop To It!

Be sure to check out the best affiliate programs for the Garmin Nuvi.....At 4%, you'll make under $10 on Amazon so you might want to try a few other affiliate programs.

Hope this helps you guys out!

amazon and ebay are the best due to the big name, people trust them :) you can try best buy as well. i looked around clickbank, aint that great, but you can use this with any affiliate company.
